If I had known… I will never choose Sonder again

Not having a concierge or even someone at the front desk, who could answer basic questions for you, is disconcerting at a minimum The person at the front desk was curt and borderline rude when we try to check in and did not understand that we had to use an app Additionally, we had no hot water for the first 3 1/2 days that we were there For part of the time that we were there the elevator did not work There was no where to buy food… Not even vending machines

Not a great stay...Beware. Two elevators of which one was not working during our entire stay. The other broke down at least twice while we were there with my friend stuck inside once for 30 minutes. He had to climb 8 flights at another point. The hot water was inconsistent and also went out while we were there.

If you like taking a cold shower, listening to a noisy AC, and climbing to the 12th floor by the stairs, you should definitely consider Sonder at The Point, and I am not pretending to be a grumble guest. I can understand a hot water outage for a short time, but it lasted for 2.5 days; luckily, I was leaving today, and even after they sent us a message saying everything is okay now, I haven't had any hot water in my shower. Elevator was another problem. When I just checked in, I noticed the elevator was not working correctly - it was just turning off whenever it wanted, and I heard people complaining about it. Yes, they have two elevators in every tower, but another one was out of service for over three weeks, as people said. Yesterday was a nightmare; I waited for over 30 minutes for the elevator. Finally, the AC was a cherry on the pie; it always made a noise, and you couldn't do anything with it. Moreover, it is right next to the bed, so if you don't turn it off before you fall asleep, you wake up with a headache and can't change the temperature, so you either accept 72 degrees or feel the heat because it is hot outside. Another thing: Wi-Fi doesn't have a stable connection, so it is not the best place to work from and take many online meetings. It was my second and, I believe, the last time staying at Sonder property.

Mixed feeling!

The place was nice but the dust on top of the fridge and the hard water ring inside the toilet was a big turn off. The construction was horrendous. I wish there was a heads up on this as I work at night and sleep during the day. Needless to say I barely got any sleep. The ladies I had to interact with, especially Aaliyah... were all very nice and professional.

Nice and quiet place, bed was very comfortable and has everything you need on your stay. The only drawback right now is the construction has the GPS a little messed up and it tries to route you to a parking garage that isn’t connected to the hotel, but not their fault. 10/10

The room was dirty and there was no hot water. When I inquired they said it was building wide, but when I checked with the front desk, it seemed as if the rep was lying. They rent rooms in this building and have their own check in. Front desk was no help, but reported no problems with hot water from anyone else. Terrible and would never recommend dealing with them again

At first glance the property seemed fine and the staff onsite seemed friendly enough. The main issue is with the actual administration that is running this hotel. First night I checked in for my stay there was NO hot water in the whole building in what was one of the coldest cold fronts to face the Orlando area in the last 50 years. NO WHERE did they let any guests know before checking in or did they try to warn you about the situation in order foy you as a guest to be well prepared for what you'd be walking in to. Me and my partner checked in late and when we arrived at our room it was already 10 pm, check-in was smooth through their mobile app but again, NO WARNINGS. When we finally settled in our room that was when we found out their was no water. I then proceeded to start a live chat with their agents via Sonder mobile app and it took them over two hours to let me know the issue was a busted water pipe that cause the WHOLE BUILDING to not have any hot water. I asked them that how long will it take for them to fix it and they advised it would be fixed in the following morning. LIES!! By the next AFTERNOON my partner and I decided to give up waiting and tried to create another chat in order to cancel the remainder of the stay. In order to keep this short and fit within the max, I was given the runaround by both expedia and wonder. Never received my refund and had to leave that hotel and pay for another hotel with Marriot out of pocket. PLEASE BEWARE and reconsider here.

We overall enjoyed our stay at this property. We would definitely stay here again. Check in was easy without any issue. Front desk always greeted us when we came in. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is perfect. There is construction going on next door but we were never disturbed by that. However, you can definitely hear your neighbors going in and out. The walls are very thin and the doors close loudly behind you. Our only recommendation is for the property to add a vending machine. There is no vending options at all. We had to leave the property to go purchase drinks. We did ask the front desk to be sure and they confirmed no vending on site. Thank you Sonder for a great stay and we look forward to booking again in the future.

Loved my stay , stayed here for one week love the self service with the Sonder app just walk right in and get greeted every time from staff in the front ! , rooms were very clean and nice and had everything you needed extra towels extra paper towels cups plates anything you need , as well all amenities hot tub and pool and gym very nice ! Everything is so close fast foods universal Disney no need to pay extra for those universal hotels this one is literally right next to it amazing views from the rooms ! Ubers $5-$10 not expensive at all everything is close by 5-15 mins from Disney springs , city walk , icon park , giant McDonald’s , chilis , Applebees all near by would likely recommend to stay here !

It was a very nice area and super close to universal studios which was where we were vacationing. I think this is a fantastic price for how close you were to the theme parks and local restaurants without having to pay for the resort hotels. Overall very happy!
