The area was really nice. The hotel was cute and very clean. However, our room was very tiny. The AC rattled the whole first night but we banged it a little the next night and it was ok. What really made me mad was they unexpectedly charged a parking fee for $19.99 per night!!! What!!! $40 wasted for no reason, the parking lot was empty and this was not a nice fancy hotel! I was furious and wouldn’t have chose this property had I known.

We needed a handicap accessible room. They said they didn’t have one. The bed is the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever been in! The door does not close all the way, so the light comes in all around the door. This is not only a visual problem. This is also a security problem as if there’s a fire. This is a fire door. It will not accomplish his job!

The free shuttle to Universal is a scam and the linens are bathed in a toxic soup that made my eyes burn and my son get a scratchy throat. I called before booking and asked about the universal shuttle and whether I could come back in the middle of the day on the shuttle and they told me the times were posted in the lobby and it would all be good. But after I got there I realized hardly anyone speaks English and the person on the phone probably didn't even understand me. The shuttle takes you one time in the morning and brings you back one time in the afternoon around 5:30 p.m. so you don't even get to stay in the park all day unless you pay for Ubers which adds $30 to my day. I asked for an ozone machine to help take the smell out from the Linens and they put a broken one in my room that only blew musty air with no ozone and when I asked for something different they told me my rate was non-refundable because I booked on hotels.com and sorry not sorry there was nothing they would do

First hotel I have ever stayed in with no place to hang your clothes, no place, other then the shower rod, to hang any type of towel in the bathroom. Also, no type of chest or cabinet with drawer to put your clothes. Will not be staying here again.

Overall 8 out of 10. I waited over 25 mins to get checked in. I did drive late for check in but the sign up front said “be back in 10 mins”. Also, the parking situation is brutal and you have to pay per night. The food options for breakfast were not bad. Room was actually very nice and cozy and the hotel overall was kept very clean inside and out. There are so many stores nearby and the drive to the theme parks were decent each day.
