Terrible stay.

We were staying the night before leaving on a cruise. We arrived after a long day of travel (10:30pm) and were told the room we reserved two months prior on hotels.com was not available. And if we would wait a "houseman" would get it ready. After an hour we finally got the keys and went to find the room was still dirty from the previous guest (pictures posted). We went back to the desk and eventually got a room that was different from what we booked. This place had great reviews but our experience was terrible. We would not recommend to anyone.

I thought it was a great value for what I paid. Lately the places I have stayed at this price have had: (literal) holes in the wall, some times rodents, mystery unpleasant odors or stains in bedding or carpet, stiff carpet. But not here. It’s clean, the bed and bedding was comfortable, no mystery odors I recall, and so quiet. I was happy with everything, I only wish I could have stayed longer but I had to catch a 4 am plane. The only way it could have been better is it was closer to a bus line or the grout cleaned in the bathroom. But I’ve stayed at hotels way more expensive than this where the grout looked the same. Thanks for a great five hour sleep.
