Good base for families doing theme parks

The house is huge. Location is easy for theme parks. The rental agency’s processes felt redundant to VRBO’s. Upcharge for a broken down grill they rented from a service. Upcharge for pool and spa heat but heat shuts off at 6pm so no evening hot tub. The house was good, tons of towels, day-of check-in and check-out were easy. It feels like Orlando/Disney … a big build expense and then ride it out and milk the details. Great if you know that going in.

Almost Perfect !

We really enjoyed our stay, although we had some minor hiccups. The remote didn’t work for one of the TVs which was a big deal for us and it was addressed. Our 2nd day in the home, we were ordered to get out of the pool around 1pm because there wasn’t any chlorine in it and we couldn’t get back in until the next day. We paid a daily rate for the heated spa, so we should have been refunded for one day. The other issues that we had was the result of a poor inspection before guest arrival.

Beautiful Home /Location

The home was wonderful for our family get together. There were six adults and a 1yr old. Loved the walking distance to the lazy river. Lots of room & the beds are comfortable. Plenty of dishes/glasses.

Nice house, great location

Our family of 9 enjoyed staying at Villa San Marco. Definitely plenty of room. Easy walk to clubhouse which had a lovely lazy river. The house pool was great too but bottom of pool is rough on toes and feet but still great! Very clean except some stains on carpet stairs only. Kitchen is nice size but scant number of pots, pans, cooking utensils, mixing bowls. Had to call office regarding 2 minor things and they were quick to respond and quick to fix the problem. Thank you for a great stay.

Great Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this property. This was our 3rd year traveling as a family and staying at this resort. The home was nice. The listing said new home, it is NOT! There were some issues with the furniture upstairs being broken upon our arrival but this is something the property manager would not have known if it was not reported. The home is in need of a good inspection by the management company to ensure that the items I brought to their attention are addressed. Spa Heat never worked, but our schedules made it difficult for me to do anything about it, and it was so hot we really did not need it so if you are thinking of getting it don't! Management was very courteous and helpful when I called them. We have stayed in several homes in Florida and I purposely rent homes with pool tables or game rooms for entertainment. Unfortunately this home did not have AC in the garage and the heat was so unbearable that we were not able to utilize the game room. This was a bummer. We tried letting the garage door up, but with lights on bugs come in and then we were concerned about the noise of men playing pool so we opted not to use it. Hopefully management will add some type of cooling in the garage. My biggest complaint was with the cleanliness of the home. Before I start, I do have OCD, so I re-clean every home I rent, with that being said a few issues I could not overlook. The sheets on the twin striped bed were stained. My nieces would not sleep in the beds so I took the sheets off to wash them hoping the stain was permanent (still not good but it was my thought) well after washing the stain came out. It made everyone give me their sheets. The toilet seat in the bathroom between the King room and Twin room was stained. I cleaned it but the stains did not come out so the tween girls would not use the toilet. Hopefully management addresses these issues because the home is nice and in a nice area close to Disney.

Great last minute vaca - will return!

Booked a last minute vacation at this beautiful resort/home. The house is in an ideal location to the clubhouse - just enough of a walk to get some good sunshine and exercise and close enough for my 13 and 14 year old to go freely over to the basketball courts and gym on their own. The house was everything that the pics show - clean and functional! We had one minor issue, but the property managers were very quick to resolve and followed up with us promptly - very impressed. We were a family of 4 and did not require a home this large, but could certainly see how it would be great to accommodate larger groups! We will definitely return to this property and resort again in the very near future.
