Elevator was broken for days and staff 'didn't know'. Dirty and run down. Only convenient for access to the water park. Would find other accommodation for future trips.

Love Cabana Bay!!

From check in to departure, all the staff was amazing and very accommodating!! Love this property. The room had a spectacular view of Volcano Bay!!

Outside of our consistent room key issues, we had a great stay. Very convenient for visiting Universal… separate entrance for Volcano Bay made things very easy.

Family friendly and affordable option to stay in the universal bubble. Use of unlimited bus transfers to universal them parks and city walk is very convenient. Dining options on site that catered for my ceoliac child. Walk next door to volcano bay is very easy or use in site pool facilities.

The property as a whole was amazing. My husband and I dont have kids, and even though it has amenitites geared towards kids, we had a blast. I will say we found better food options off site but were okay if in a pinch

Some areas were broken and not operational. This was disappointing to see since there was no apparent effort to repair the situation past or present. In particular the recreational room which would be a huge benefit in inclement weather when the pool was closed. Another area was the frozen yogurt bar as a healthy alternative. The quality of food overall was lacking and there were not many healthy options. Mainly fast food.

This is our favorite hotel to stay at when we go on vacation in Florida. If you’re going to Universal parks then you get perks, like getting into the park early. At this specific hotel, you can actually walk to Universal’s waterpark. You also get a private entrance rather than the general entrance. The staff consistently checked in with us to make sure we did not need anything. My favorite part about this hotel is that there are two swimming pools and a lazy river. There’s also a bowling alley and an arcade. There’s even a Starbucks downstairs. There are plenty of food choices if you don’t want to leave the resort they are not overly priced. They offer drink cups for purchase that can be refilled for your entire stay, which helps to manage the cost of drinks. We always have a great time staying at this hotel. They take care of us.

Nice hotel - terrible sleep

Nice hotel But as soon as we laid our toddler down, around 8:30, there was loud music playing and even with the sound machine on, the music is just non stop. I'm thinking it's from city walk but I'm not too sure. However, terrible night sleep due to the disruption. I like this hotel but unsure I would stay again because my family and I couldn't get a goodnight sleep.

Great Hotel

Great place for family vacation. There was a shuttle to Universal Studios and City Walk. Got to spend the day in their lazy river which was a good size. Will definitely go again.

We had a blast at the Cabana Bay Resort! The lazy river was a total hit and we looked forward each day relaxing and floating down the river after every busy day at the parks. I would love to see breakfast included as a complimentary/continental buffet in the future as food prices really add up for families. Adding main course healthier choices in the diner would be greatly appreciated as well.
