It was an ok stay. I wouldn’t call this a 5 star hotel. Pros - the pool was very nice, service excellent with great food - nachos were incredible and massive! And great drinks. Our room was ready first thing in the morning when we checked in which was hugely appreciated. Cons - quite a few just mentioning the main ones - The room was very dark, and quite run down. The whole hotel needs renovating, the hallways stank of damp and smoke and spillages weren’t cleared up for hours. An ok deal with the free express passes but I’d pick Hard Rock next time.

Booked this hotel because of the express passes that were offered for the parks. We have stayed at the Hard Rock in the past and loved it so thought this experience would be similar but it was not. First, the main restaurant and bar were being renovated and the only restaurant/bar was not very inviting. The second issue was the cleanliness of the bathroom. The tile around the shower had a layer of grime that needed a deep clean. For the $2900 for 3 days you would think it would be spotless. Third, we booked a room for 3 kids and two adults. We got to the room and it was SMALL! Two queen beds! I went to the front desk thinking we had the wrong room because there was no place for the 5th person to sleep. They explained I needed to request a roll a way bed. I inquired as to where they would put it since room is so tight and they said a chair would be replaced by bed. They came up with the bed but left the chair for us to deal with. The last straw was when we tried to use the express pass at Epic Universe. We were told the hotel express pass was not honored. We booked this hotel through Expedia so I went to my booking to see if this was explained and it was not. There is absolutely nothing saying that the express passes would not be honored at this park. This was the only reason we paid $1000 a day for a room. If this was written in the booking details we would have stayed at a cheaper hotel and purchased express passes from Epic Universe.

Need a slide at pool. And free water in rooms. Bellmen were wonderful, but didn't like having to tip two people each time. One to load cart, then a different one to push and unload cart. Also, they tried to separate me from my luggage when I checked in. Very confusing. All employees were exceptional. Pool was beautiful and fun. Great pizza at pool too. Would stay here again
