This is a budget hotel that does not always have somebody at reception during the day, and they don’t answer their phone timely (25 -30 mins for a call back). They rely on your phone being charged and working perfectly to access the QR code, receive a text, and punch the code in to open the door. If something goes wrong with the technology, you’re screwed as I was left standing in the pouring rain for 20 minutes. A guest came out, went in to look around for an employee for 5 minutes and was unable to find anybody to help. They told us the QR code was also needed to access the room so if your phone isn’t receiving texts perfectly (36 hours later I still have not received the text with the code) you are stuck. They did call back about 30 minutes after my first call for help, but had already checked into a different hotel by that time. They also sent me messages after that saying it was my fault. Terrible customer service experience. I strongly recommend avoiding this place unless you want to rely on flimsy technology or risk getting stuck with no room (and up to this point no refund).
