It did the job. Small room, check in and out is done entirely yourself. Minimal contact with staff. Room was acceptable and clean for a budget hotel, but overall probably my least satisfying stay during my trip in Japan.

Whenever I travel to Japan I try to stay at an APA Hotel chain. I know what I am getting and it is always clean, although small as judged by western standards. This location has a lot of places to eat around it and close to the train station.

Location was great.

Location was the biggest advantage. The room and bath were very small. There was no room for suitcases. No free coffee or breakfast in the morning. You only got bottled water on your first day. The headboard of bed was very dusty. Bed was comfortable and we didnt spent much time in the hotel anyway. Overall, stay in Osoka was great.

It's right in the middle of Namba, literally minutes away from popular areas like Dotonbori, Kuromon Market, Namba station. However, it still feels quiet inside the room at night. There is a Lawson right across the small alley. The room is quite small but that is to be expected. The bed is plenty big for two people who are not on the heavy side.
