The bed sheets smelt like cigarettes smoke , when I left the sign on my room to change my room they only gave me new towels . There is a temple next door that goes off every morning at 1am for about ten minutes plus the traffic from the road is very noisy . The gym is terrible with hardly any equipment . Breakfast and reception pain to get to . Would not recommend. Wish I had read the reviews regarding the noise

The room was spotless. The blind was a blackout blind, which meant that we could sleep in. The amenities provided were excellent as well; moisturising cream etc... It was also conveniently located from the subway exit. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Osaka.

The best place we stayed at during our trip to Japan. I can’t emphasize enough how convenient, clean, spacious (huge plus), and elegant this place was. For the price we paid, there is no question about it that this hotel went above and beyond. Very hight recommend. Another major plus is it is right beside a huge shopping district, subway is 2-3 mins walk away, 15 mins walk to Shinsaibashi and 20 mins walk to dotonbori area. It couldn’t be more convenient than that.

Great hotel, room size was great, it seemed cleaned except under the bed!! Location was good. It’s about a 20 min walk to the dotonbori bridge/walk area. There were a couple other hotels a little closer and looked nice, but I would stay here at the Excel again.

Great location. Comfy bed. My only complaint is that the gym only had cardio machines, no weights. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Overall, would stay again.
