we were greeted with really helpful staffs that helped us with the check in process. the room was squeaky clean, the bed is big and able to fit 2 persons comfortably. the room is big enough to fit things for two light packers and have the amenities that you'd possibly require to have a comfortable stay.

Absolutely loved my stay at Toyoko Inn Osaka Umeda 2. I had mistakenly booked a smoking room, but spoke to the staff and they were so helpful in transferring me to a non smoking room. The staff were so kind a friendly. The location was so good for me too, I enjoyed the quiet area of umeda and the distance to the metro was quite good! I plan to come back to Osaka next year 2026 and stay there again!

There was a shuttle bus to Umeda, Osaka, which was very convenient. The room was larger than I expected, and the staff were kind and polite, which I liked. The breakfast was also delicious.

Clean, had good free continental breakfast, the Japanese kind. Front desk staff were friendly and offered to store our luggage when we arrived early and left late on the train. Rooms were clean and it was convenient to find the train station.

This hotel sold us an economy room for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) whereas the room capacity was only for 2 people. They put this misleading information out there and caused us so much inconvenience. We had no choice but to stay as they had no other rooms available and it was very late at night. The staff was unapologetic about this. Did not have a roll away bed or mattresses. Offered 2 thin blankets to sleep on and one to cover. When we asked for 2 additional towels they literally fought with us saying they wouldn’t because “the kids stay free and their towels are for sale only.” It was very torturous to stay at this filthy hotel with zero customer service. The staff did not speak or understand any English. The shower head did not stay in place and the sink and bathtub were backing up. The interior was very dated and hardly cleaned. I would not recommend staying here especially if you are non- Japanese. I demand a full refund.

I stayed here with my family of three and it was amazing! The hotel is incredibly clean and offers a great variety for breakfast everyday! The staff was also very helpful and patient despite not knowing English. I would stay here again!

It's a no-frills business hotel, close to a main subway line so ideal for traversing the city. The rooms are cleaned on a regular basis and overall the building is well kept. Interior is a bit old fashioned but does the job. The free breakfasts are a nice extra, which you can opt-in and out of by using the TV in your room. This is to avoid food waste. The free shuttle service to Osaka station helps make the journey to the airport smoother, but doesn't run all day. Despite not having English speaking staff, they are still more than willing to help out, and the use of AI pocket translators fill any language gaps. The room sizes are small, as expected, but there's enough space for 2 suitcases. The only real downside was the hard matress, but the staff provided an additional duvet and blankets to pad out the bed so my fiancee could sleep.
