#7 | Sleeps More, Cozy, Lake Access
Welcome to Barefoot Beach Resort, a laid-back spot on the best beach of Lake Huron. Cabin 7 sits right on the water, with a front patio and sliding screen door that open up just steps from the sand. It’s a bit more tucked away than the others—still part of the resort, but with just enough space to feel like your own little pocket on the lake.
This 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin keeps things simple and comfortable, with knotty pine walls, new mattresses, and plenty of room to spread out. It’s got everything you need for a relaxed, beachy getaway—and nothing you don’t.
★THE SPACE★
☀ Two bedrooms with 2 queens + a twin bunk (sleeps 6)
☀ One bathroom—small but works just fine
☀ Full kitchen + a 4-person dining table
☀ Living room with Roku TV (if you feel like turning it on)
☀ Charcoal grill, picnic table, patio chairs, and some beach toys
☀ Shared fire pits literally on the beach
☀ High-speed Wi-Fi (good enough for Zoom, if you must)
☀ Easy self-check-in, no keys or hassle
☀ Starter Kit: Coffee, paper towels, soap, trash bags, toilet paper, etc. (restock as needed)
☆☆ Right on the lake, with space for the crew ☆☆
Cabin 7 opens up to the water with a screen door and patio that make it easy to step out and start your day on the beach. It’s one of our best cabins for a group—with plenty of beds, more space inside than most, and just enough separation from the other cottages to feel like your own little hideaway.
☆☆ Cabin comfort, with a few updates ☆☆
We’ve kept the cozy charm, added new mattresses, and made a few subtle design tweaks to freshen things up while staying true to the rustic, up north feel.
☆☆ Grilling, s’mores, and bonfires on the beach ☆☆
Bring the marshmallows. The shared fire pits are right on the lake, and there’s nothing better than ending your day watching the fire crackle and waves roll in.
☆☆ Room for everyone ☆☆
Whether you’re chasing your kids around in the sand or hanging out after a long day on the boat, Cabin 7 gives you the room to spread out and relax without losing the snug cabin vibe.

Biking and walking are common, with various trails, beaches, parks, and recreational areas within easy reach on foot or by bike.
Thousands of acres of wetlands and woods, with trails and birdwatching spots. Super peaceful and usually pretty quiet.
