Upon checking in, we immediately noticed that the tap in the toilet sink was loose, and the handle had completely fallen off. We had to make our way down to the reception to show them a video of the broken tap before they finally agreed to move us to a new room located in a different building. With only 2 nights in Oslo, we had little time to waste. Upon returning in the evening, we discovered that the ventilation was not functioning. We had no choice but to open the window for the night, which was quite disruptive given the noise from the street, especially being on the 6th floor.
The next morning, we addressed the issues with the receptionist, who asked us to demonstrate the problem. However, we had a full day planned, including a museum visit, so we requested that he check it for us. Later, we spoke to another receptionist on shift, who dismissed our concerns, claiming there was nothing wrong with the ventilation as noted. Reluctantly, we returned to our room only to find that the ventilation worked for an hour and then stopped again—no adjustments to the controller made any difference. This led to another night of us having to open the window for air. This situation is unacceptable and should be addressed promptly.
