The food and beverage was excellent the staff was excellent . Location was excellent . Our room face the front of a busy street so it was quite noisy. The room was very compact for two people with luggage. We also feel it was overly warm and had a hard time cooling it off except keeping windows open which made the noise difficult while sleeping.

Overall everything was good. The room was nice, bed was comfortable and front desk was friendly and helpful. Cleaning needs improvement. What let this place down was on the last two days cleaning was not done. We had no clean towels for two days, bedsheets were never changed, and because no cleaning was done we had to ask for garbage and dishes and wet towels be removed at 21:00. We did not have the sign up for no cleaning, so it was purely overlooked towards the end of our stay.

Great location. Easy to get around. Greeting email to help get situated before the stay. Gym in the basement is a bit stuffy, but well furnished and open 24/7. Prolly a solid choice for my next Oslo trip

Very nice hotel. The breakfast is amazing - one of the best I’ve experienced. Great options and selection. Can have something different every day over a week stay. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Had a standards room in the back of house. It was nice and quiet. The room was quite small so not enough space to set out a suitcase. The only improvement would be more space to put clothes. (Hanging space and shelf space).

Stayed at room 441 no view, staring at grey wall. Please inform the guest prior to arrival. Please install light for the cabinet / shelf where coffee machine, kettle for coffee and tea making. Please fix The door since it doesn't lock quickly and we have to wait for 1 minute. This is a nuisance. Change the menu everyday if possible. Please ask the front desk staff to at least wishing safe travels for departing guests and at least ask the guest if they need assistance with transportation to the airport or train station or anywhere else they need to go. They didn't say anything to us when we checked out. Thank you

I had a great stay at the Karl Johann hotel. The room was spacious and received lots of natural light. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was always plentiful and had lots of options. I wouldn’t definitely stay there again.
