Overall the place is very nice. But very much lacking those details you expect at a higher end resort. The food sounded delectable, unfortunately came less than luke warm and please don’t order desert, it was dry and old. I do understand the issues of running a restaurant on the off season. But please, only offer what you can make well. The bathroom in the room appeared to have lovely toiletries. Unfortunately they were all watered down and u useable. I chose not to complain while at the resort as it was my birthday and I did not want to spend my time complaining. However, these things were disappointing.

One of the best hotel we stayed. Staffs were friendly. Checking in and out were quick and easy. Parking was gated and secured. Beautiful Lake view from the windows. Room was clean with a full functional kitchen. We will definitely come again.

The Walnut Beach Resort is lovely, clean, well appointed and an excellent location on the beach. Staff were very nice and apologetic when we told them how noisy it was that night we stayed. The people next door were loud but quieted about 9pm, the running in the halls was loud but quieted about then but above our room was someone who was stomping and dragging furniture during the night, about midnight through to 5 in the morning. We thought it might be a worker but no! So we cannot recommend this gorgeous and well appointed place becasue of the noise.

The food at the hotel restaurant was very mediocre, flavourless, there was only 2 tables of 4 people each while we were there, our food was wrong, cold and had to be sent back. We got the pasta deal. The hotel is also not very sound proof, we could hear every single foot step, door closing and conversation from beside us and above us.
