Solide Unterkunft im Hinterland des Bodensees

Pros: Sehr herzlicher Empfang und unkompliziertes Einchecken. Viele Tipps und Infos von unserer Vermieterin sowie vom Touristenbüro erhalten. Ruhe, da weit abgelegen; mit dem Auto ca. 15 km von Überlingen entfernt. Tagesticket für nur € 3,50 am P&R Parkplatz Helios, kostenloser Shuttlebus. Mit der Gästecard (Kurtaxe) konnte man außerdem im gesamten (deutschen) Bodenseekreis kostenlos Bus und Bahn benutzen. Die vielen Tiere auf der Straußenfarm: natürlich die Strauße (kleine private Führung inbegriffen), Hühner, Enten, Ziegen, Katze. Und zwei Alpakas (Emil und Kalle), mit denen man auf Anfrage spazieren gehen konnte. Für Familien mit Kindern gut ausgestattete Spielmöglichkeiten: Trampolin, Rutsche, Schaukel, Sandkasten. Großzügige Grünflächen und Grillplatz mit Gartenpavillion. (Leider hat das Wetter nicht mitgespielt.) Cons: Die Ausstattung war soweit ok, aber ausbaufähig. Es fehlten z. B. Fön, Eierkocher, einige Geschirr- und Spültücher zusätzlich. Kein Handtuchwechsel für die zweite Woche. Die Ringe der Herdplatten sind bereits gesprungen und müssten ausgetauscht werden. Die Wohnzimmercouch bedarf einer gründlichen Reinigung, da leider nicht alle Gäste pfleglich mit den Sachen umgehen. Die Betten waren für uns etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig: zu flache Kopfkissen mit sehr wenig Füllung und zu weiche Matratzen (schon durchgelegen?).

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber einer schönen Ferienwohnung in der Natur

Pros: Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit allem vor Ort, was man für den Urlaub braucht (z.B. auch Feuerstelle im Garten) Sehr freundliche Gastgeber Interessante Einblicke in die Straußenzucht und Ausflugstipps im Rahmen der täglichen Fütterungsrunden Kostenlose Möglichkeit für eine freie Alpakawanderung Cons: Fast kein Handyempfang, WLAN Stärke in Ferienwohnung sehr sehr schwach. Für Gäste mit Kindern: Beschreibung des Hofes bezüglich der Tiere war zum Zeitpunkt unserer Buchung 2 Jahre alt.
