The room was dirty - mold in the bathroom, raisinettes on the floor - room smelled very musty. The outdoor sitting area had old pizza laying on the ground for multiple days. We were not allowed an early check-in, to the point where we were almost turned again ten minutes prior to check-in time. The pool was not in service due to maintenance but my guess is that they are just too lazy to keep it clean. When we asked about changing our room type, we were told the hotel was fully booked - a quick check online showed that was not the case. The manager did give us a free cot and an apology. It’s an older hotel with potential but the owner/operator just needs to put some time and money into cleaning it up and then find staff that would could maintain it. It was a couple with children in tow that were cleaning the rooms. Very poor - would not recommend and disappointed that Expedia would even have them on their list of options.
