I was on a trip for Thanksgiving to visit my daughter and family. I often make a choice between Pell City and Oxford. They are just the right mileage away from my home to my daughter’s home. The facility in Oxford was perfect. It appears to be kept up with no problems. Everything shined. The choices for breakfast were good. The staff at the check in desk were both very friendly.

The staff was very nice and courteous. I brought my dog, and their pet fee was very reasonable. The room was a bit dated, those seemed to be clean. The bathroom had been updated, and was good. I had no problems with noise, it seemed to be pretty well soundproofed. Overall, there was a little bit of a smell, that I couldn’t quite put my finger on, but not so overwhelming that it affected me. The breakfast was very good. Overall, I give it a “good “rating.

I asked and paid for a late checkout to get awoken by house keeping banging on the door at 10:15-10:30 waking me up so I left at at 11 which is normal checkout time and I paid $30 extra to stay until 1
