Reliability is the middle name of this hotel; fair price , easy parking, fast check-in, staff on sight, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good plumbing, good continental breakfast, and not far from the surrounding PS action. An affordable Gem! I am so glad I persisted in looking for last minute lodgings in Pagosa. This locally owned Inn is wonderful and reasonably priced. Much nicer than the sterile boxes of the national chains, good location, and pretty quiet despite not being that far off the highway. I occasionally visit Pagosa for work reasons and if I'm over-nighting again the Alpine Inn will be my first choice!
