A little pricey for the room that overlooked a roof and also outdated. The food was really good, but I’m not sure I would call this the best rated hotel in Delray Beach. The only good thing about it was it was right across the street from the beach, but we certainly did not have a good view of the beach.

When we checked in the room wasn’t ready until 5;30pm they did give us 2 drink coupons for the bar but we were stuck waiting to check in for an hour and a half

The staff at the Opal are exceptional people. Very kind and very friendly. The room was clean but only issue was it would be nice to have a makeup mirror in the bathroom and a shampoo/conditioner stand in the shower. We had to put our hair products on the floor. Other than that, the room was very clean, it was quiet, the bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return very soon!

Room was old. Hot water in shower didn't work, housekeeping didn't come 2 out of 5 days. Elevators took so long that we used the steps everyday. On 2 occasions we saw a rat running around the property outside
