Welcome to The Margarette. Built in 1948 with all it’s charm intact Pass through the iron gate and into the lush gardens and you will find your private entrance to your Art Deco Bungalow. Spacious, comfortable and everything you need to make your stay unique. Everything Palm Desert has to offer at your fingertips. It’s quiet, tranquil. Centrally located, walking distance to El Paseo and Indian Wells. Coachella, Indio and Palm Springs is a short Uber ride away.

Room is approximately 300 sq ft with queen size bed, original built in vanity, shower, dining area and fully equipped kitchenette. Mini fridge, induction plate, microwave, toaster oven, stocked Keurig, Entrance and window overlooking the pool.

Pool was added last year she's 10 x 30 salt water pool with lounge chairs right outside your door. Extra charge to heat pool and or jacuzzi. Please inquire in advance regarding costs. Lots of covered patio space and places to sit and read. The backyard is SHARED with another unit on the property. Other unit holds 2 and I live in the main house. Never crowded and perfect setting. The days are beautiful but the one word that best describes the evenings here is magical.

Brand new BBQ installed with natural gas. Here it’s BBQ season all year round. Throw on some steaks and have poolside dinner. Nothing like Al Fresco dinning and no dinner reservations required.

Excellent Stay!

My stay here was excellent. I needed a weekend away and wanted a private residence with a pool. The location was great, the property was beautiful and the resident cat “Dutchess” was awesome! Margarette answered all my questions and is a great host. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Every little touch has been taken care of! The backyard oasis is even more beautiful than the pictures depict. Very comfortable, very safe, totally easy to walk to shopping, dining, spas, etc. We want to come back!

If you’re headed to Palm Desert/Springs this is a great spot to stay. Margret the host goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Pool area and jacuzzi are great (please note that it is shared space should the other room is booked). Highly recommend!

This property is fantastic. I just wanted to relax and this was just the place. Very quiet and has everything you need. The pool and patio are very inviting. Definitely a getaway you will enjoy. Wonderful stay!!

Bought tickets to Powertrip Live. As soon as they were secured, every hotel in the area doubled or tripled their rates. Found this little gem and it was perfect. Within 15 minutes of Empire Polo grounds. Room is similar to a hotel room in size. Comfortable bed, sitting area, small table/chairs, kitchenette. Lots of artwork. Pool/hot tub and large outside patio with numerous lounge chairs. Host (Margret) was great. Asked about our plans and shared info. Very responsive. A number of small, personsl touches (wine and glasses as we entered the room, among others). Clearly evident she takes pride in the accommodations. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Very highly recommended. Thank you Margret for your hospitality.

Amazing trip

The place was very cozy and clean, the whole pool and yard area was for us since the other unit was not rented . We enjoyed a lot . The Pool was heated for me by the property owner Margret who is a very nice lady. Wishing to go back again soon

Peaceful courtyard garden

The garden courtyard made my stay great! The small pool was refreshing and just long enough for an invigorating few laps. In the garden I met and chatted with fellow travelers and the host. Lovely. The place is quiet but close to Palm Desert's concentration of restaurants and shops. Great location.
