Okay, but would not stay again

The sheets were dirty, the bathroom smelled like mildew. The jacuzzi looked dirty so we did not use it. The air conditioning is loud. There was a weird man staying at the room right at the entrance to get to the stairs who said trump when we walked by making it very uncomfortable. Will be trying out another hotel next time we visit Palm Springs.

The wear & tear is evident at this iconic hotel, but it has it's charm. It has undergone a facelift & someone devoted some artistic energy for it. Loved the beautiful wood paneling on some of the walls. The bright colored exteriors remind me of a european village. For a budget hotel the basics are covered with a dash of flair. The towels were small but clean & hefty & plenty of hot water.

This place should be rated a minus 1. We had to retrieve our own towels from the laundry guy. Smoke detector didn't work. The faucet in bathroom came apart, the mattress had a huge dip in it. Sketchy place, looks like they rent to homeless. Will never return!!
