This is a little oasis in an urban setting. Once you enter the gate to the actual hotel, it is completely charming. I had the sense that the owners took an old motel or motor court, and transformed it into little cottages around a center courtyard with lovely desert landscaping, a pristine pool, and various lounging, firepits, etc. Because of the painting of the cottages, based on the fabulous wallpaper inside, there is a definite deco luxe feel. The only improvement is very specific to summer heat (I live in Tucson so I know this well) - the main room was air conditioned fairly well and had a ceiling fan, but the cool air didn't really help in the kitchenette or the bathroom. Additional fans might help or small window AC? The bathroom was more challenging because if you closed the door, the room heated up pretty quickly. Again, this is probably only an issue in July/August, and might be solved easily. The pantry, staff, breakfast, grounds, etc. were really superior - my adult daughter said it would be ideal for a bridal shower. The design elements were fabulous.

The decor and aesthetics of this hotel are super cute. Great amenities like complimentary sparking water, grab & go snacks, welcome champagne drink. Very quiet, chill vibe. Unfortunately, the room had a lot of worms; appeared to be a crack in door making our stay very uncomfortable. Being how hot it is in PS, AC unit could be better, didn’t cool down until late late night/early am.

My experience was truly enhanced by the exceptional service provided by Bri, who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her dedication and attentiveness made a significant positive impact on our stay. Overall, the hospitality and comfort at Fleur Noire Hotel were commendable. While I don’t have specific criticisms to mention, the excellent service from Bri stands out as a highlight.

Lovely boutique hotel, quiet and restful. Don’t expect a full blown pool party here. A great place to relax and recharge. I appreciate the complimentary breakfast and snack bar. I wish there was poolside food that we could’ve order but UberEats was able to deliver. I definitely would stay here again. 5 minute drive to the downtown area… it’s a quick drive 🙂

Overseas guests beware

The property is very nice, with a well stocked bar and pantry. Good air conditioning for the desert heat. The main problem comes from their communication system. Being from Australia, and with data only for our phones, we were unable to get any check in information from the property, as it’s all sent via text. As such, we were stuck outside the property in the 102F heat, with no way to know how to get inside. Had to revert to climbing the fence after 10 mins, which then raised the ire of the staff. I tried to explain that I had no other option, although they didn’t seem to appreciate the point I was trying to make. “Definitely dont do it again” was clearly a mute point as once one has the door code, then i wouldn’t need to…I don’t go around jumping 2m high fences for fun! Perhaps a door bell would help, or move to WhatsApp for communication like the rest of the world? The property is well located to nearby food and drink options, although a lot of their suggestions are permanently closed and need updating.

The staff goes overboard to make your stay unforgettable. A special thanks to Karen (room service), and wonderful Dee (front desk), for taking such a good care of me. It Is a very cozy place. I love that they have complimentary bikes, helmets and locks, it is fun to go to downtown and check the stores, and here is a tip… You can take the bus (line 1 @ Indian Canyon), back to the hotel which is slightly up hill. This was our first time to Palm Springs so I can’t compare it to other properties. But we absolutely loved this location. It was quiet, clean, relaxing, small private, and with great shopping and dining options around the property. Love the pool and the furniture. My girlfriend loved the decorations of this place. I will definitely stay here again.

Had an amazing experience at the premises. Spent 2 nights to decompress over the holidays and Bri made our stay so amazing. From the ease of texting to get anything you need for accomodations, to the walka ability to downtown Palm Springs that's literally over the black door. One issue we had was the amount of little caterpillars that stayed their welcome. I felt a few was okay but when it was over 10 I kinda worried a bit busy juststayed out of their way and they pretty much did too. I definitely would be back if that was sorted out though.
