Great Grounds, good location
The check-in process etc went very smoothly including early check-in. Canyon Sands is a very well maintained community. Well kept grounds,
pools and hottubs and we loved watching all the hummingbirds. Although close to the 111, the place is very quite, no street noises heard inside. The place we rented was okay not quite as clean as it should be, we actually moved the couch so we could vacuum under it. We knew pets were allowed although we do not have one so expected a more thorough cleaning to get rid of dog hairs. A previous tenant's pet had scratched the windows pretty badly. Although the sliding door off the kitchen was replaced during our stay, which was appreciated, the one in the master bedrooms needs to be replaced too. We also washed the outside windows, although that did not get them 100% clean as there is quite a build up of scale on some of them, probably because of watering. A new set of pots and pans is required, some of the frying pans were pretty bad...we actually bought our own to use. All and all we had a nice stay at Canyon Sands, it just needs a bit more TLC.
