My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dalt Murada. We were greeted by a kind man when we arrived. The hotel is located perfectly in the heart of Palma, close to wonderful restaurants, the beautiful cathedral, and much more. We absolutely loved our room; it was grand and had wonderfully tall ceilings. The bed was comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting this lovely island!

Perfect hotel

A beautiful room in Old Classic spanish style. Completely quiet exeptionella from the comforting bells of the cathedral. A roof terrass with view of the cathedral. Perfectly clean and a tasty breakfast.

Vanhassakaupungissa sen ajan mukaista asumista

Loistava sijainti aivan vanhan kaupungin sydämessä. Lyhyen kävelymatkan päästä löytyy nähtävyydet, hyvät ruokapaikat kuin ostosmahdollisuudetkin. Hotellin kapealla kujalla sijainnin vuoksi taksi jätti kujan päässä olevalle tielle, josta 50 m kävelymatka hotellille. Henkilökunta todella ystävällistä. Hotelli todella vanha ja espanjalaistyylinen, kalustus ajan hengen mukainen. Siisteys erinomainen. Meillä oli valtavan kokoinen huone, josta löytyi tv, minibaari, poreamme ja ranskalainen parveke hotellin kivetylle sisäpihalle sitruunapuineen. Wifi oli ok paksuista kiviseinistä huolimatta. Hotellissa oli hissi jolla pääsee joihinkin huoneisiin, mutta esim. meidän huoneemme sijaisi paikassa mihin pääsi vain todella kapeita kiviportsita pitkin. Emme siis suosittele siis hotellia liikuntaesteisille. Aamupala ei kuulunut hintaan, pyysivät siitä 15 euroa/hlö (Hotels com:in sivuilla luki 7,50 €), sitä pidin kalliina.

Rough Start. Good Ending.

It started out very rough. I called the front desk with questions after booking and I don’t speak much Spanish. The older woman didn’t speak English, at all. I was using google translate to get through it the best I could but instead of waiting, the lady just hung up on me 3 times after yelling something at me that I couldn’t understand. I was like, “Ok. This is going to be amazing...” I didn’t call back again. Forget maps off all sorts. Ultimately, you’re inside 50’ stone walls that are 10 feet wide. I have a new iPhone and it was worthless. DO NOT TRY TO DRIVE THERE. Ask someone where the public parking is out by the ocean and main road that runs along the sea. Don’t even think about going into this maze of catacombs. It’s insane. The room was clean. Great bed. Balcony. Jetted tub with the hottest water I’ve ever felt in my life. It’s scalding hot. Watch out. In person, the people at the desk were all very nice. Different than MANY hotels, the WiFi worked perfectly everywhere.

Hyggelig base.

Havde kun en nat og brugte ikke hotellet til stort set andet end at sove. Dejlig stemning og fantastisk hyggelig terrasse med kig på katedralen. Ligger i det hyggelige gamle Palma tæt ved Placa de Cort. Ideelt sted for dem der skal rundt og udforske byen. Jeg ville til enhver tid bruge det igen.

En mi opinión no es un hotel de 4 estrellas. La ubicación es perfecta pero el diseño del hotel y calidades deja mucho que desear. El jacuzzi que hay en la habitación no funcionaba, eché en falta unas instrucciones para utilizarlo. La presión del agua del jacuzzi (del grifo) era muy baja con lo que el jacuzzi tardaba una eternidad en llenarse (yo no logré llenarlo nunca). La ubicación perfecta ya que estaba muy cerca de Plaza Cort y el paseo del Borne. Eché en falta más servicios en el hotel, muy básico todo.

Skønt centralt hotel.

Midt i den gamle bykerne, centralt i Palma bag katedralen ligger Dalt Murada. Et fantastisk chatmerende hotel hvor hele indretningen er holdt i gammel stil med masser af antikke møbler, gobeliner og middelalderlig malerkunst. Trods indretningen er der selvfølgelig alle moderne bekvemmeligheder som f.eks. fladskærms TV og køleskab. Morgenmadsbuffeten var rigelig og varieret og betales separat og koster 8,5euro. Yderst venlig betjening og et rigtig godt udgangspunkt for oplevelser i byen.

De ligging is perfect, midden in het centrum naast Placa Cort. Wij hebben ontbeten bij bakkerij Ca na Cati, goede koffie en zoete broodjes. Het bed was uitstekend. De staat van kamer en badkamer is verouderd. Er is geen thee/koffiehoek in het hotel noch in de kamers. De muren zijn erg dun dus je hoort je buren snurken en praten.

Great place!

This place is the perfect little hotel in the perfect location in town. It was central to everything and I was able to walk less than 10 mins to the harbor (just behind the hotel) or just a few mins the other way to shopping, restaurants, other sites. I would highly recommend to couples--it's a very romantic little place. I can't wait to stay here again! Ask for Room 402.

Top Lage, sehr zentral und unglaublich ruhig. Von der Terasse tollen Blick zum Dom. Gemütliches Ambiente. Die Zimmer waren allerdings etwas klein. Gutes Frühstück. Leider sprach Personal weder Englisch noch Deutsch.
