Equipped with 3 adult beach cruiser bicycles, you can cruise down 30A with ease, taking in the beautiful scenery on quick rides to the beach, Seaside, Watercolor, and beyond.

The Town of Prominence is 30A's newest vacation destination, offering resort-style amenities including sparkling pools, private cabanas, hammocks, outdoor dining pavilions with grills, and bathhouses for ultimate relaxation. Just across the street, enjoy easy access to The Hub, featuring local restaurants, boutique shops, and the Prominence Town Center event pavilion, where you can enjoy weekly concerts and movie nights.

Conveniently located between Seaside, Watersound, and Alys Beach, The Town of Prominence provides easy access to some of the best attractions along 30A. After a day of exploring, come home to The Salty Mermaid, where luxury and comfort await. BEACH ACCESS:

There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:

- Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.

- Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.6 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.

- Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access.

The Prominence Beach Shuttle runs seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day.


COMMUNITY POOL:

The Town of Prominence boasts two expansive resort-style pools, offering the perfect place to relax and unwind. Just steps from Sea Mist, the brand-new Prominence South Pool features a stunning fire pit, creating a cozy atmosphere for evening gatherings. The North Pool, an impressive 5,000+ square feet, is just a short walk across 30A and comes complete with private cabanas, grills, and a convenient bathhouse.

For year-round enjoyment, the Prominence North Pool is seasonally heated during the months of October, November, March, and April, ensuring a comfortable swim no matter the time of year.

Please note our age requirement policy for March/April: One (1) parent or guardian over the age of 25 be present and staying in the property for every three (3) guests between the ages of 15 and 25.

Please note, two (2) night reservations are subject to a lower max occupancy. A two night reservation max sleeping capacity is equal to half of the standard max occupancy restriction for the unit.

No pets of any kind are permitted in The Salty Mermaid at Prominence on 30A. No exceptions will be made. Guests who violate this policy will be charged an additional $500, plus the expense of steam-cleaning and deodorizing. Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.

NO SMOKING OR VAPING:
Smoking in any form (e.g. cigarettes, cigars, “e-cigarettes” or “vapes”) are not permitted in The Salty Mermaid. No exceptions will be made. Guests who violate this policy will be charged an additional $500, plus the expense of steam-cleaning and deodorizing. Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.
