Roaches, Windows leaked, but nice view – Reflections 309Negatives:Dead roaches on the floor when we arrived. Live roaches every night in the kitchen when we turned on the lights. Used RAID to minimize.Leaking windows during the rain, soaking the floor near the couch. No curtains on the large window facing west so nothing to deter the hot afternoon sun into the unit.Missing basic kitchen items – broom, pot holders, baking sheetsPositives:The view of the golf course and of the bay are outstanding. The location is quiet and tucked away for Panama City Beach. The grounds of Reflections are very well maintained and the pool and hot tub are refreshing. There are grills outside and move-in/move-out is easy with the elevators and luggage carts.

A Bit Disappointing

Not sure who is really responsible for cleanliness and general maintenance, the owner, property management or the contracted service provider, but while the communication w/property management was pleasant, unfortunately, items reported were not addressed in a timely or sucessful way. Thankfully these things did not hinder our overall enjoyment of the living space or the overall environment, but left things "less than optimal" for the visit. Check in entry code not functional, light bulbs out (so we couldn't tell what switches operated what devices, missing pieces of vertical blinds in BR and no LR draperies at all left us feeling "visually vulnerable", especially at night, the floors and ceiling fans were really dirty (porch fan "coated" with dust and dirt) and floors had certainly not been "wet mopped in the entire condo in "who knows when" & left us with the familiar "beach black bottom feet" (luckily we dicovered that before we got in bed, otherwise,...well, you get it). Some furniture was "rough", so we called P/Mgmt a couple of times, just to be "clear and safe about our "arrival conditions" & they were gracious, but no one ever actually show up do anything, so...besides, who really wants to spend the time on your getaway to "chase solutions to problems"...you can do that at home, right? Sure. We "made do" and hopefully this review will help all those involved help those who may come after us. We'd probably choose the unit again, "make sure" of things up front. :)
