Functional but not desirable

The Good: Bed was comfortable. Room was pretty clean though the floor in the kitchen area were sticky. The Bad: It was loud in the hallway, door didn’t close well (had to put my shoulder into it to both open and close). The television was poor quality picture dropped signal several times. No comfortable chairs. The desk chair is built for a child or very small person. Deck was nice but chairs and table would have made it useful and enjoyable.

Good room for the price and location.

This hotel is good for the price. Short drive to beach area and restaurants. Stayed alone and room was very spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast included is a plus. A happy surprise was dove products to shower so no cheap shampoos and soaps. Ice machine on the floor was out of order. But there is a fridge and freezer in the room. Room was clean and AC worked well. Bed was comfortable and came with 4 pillows.

The hotel was clean, well maintained and had a kitchette. They provided breakfast but it didn’t have many options and was just ok. But the overall experience was very good!

Room was NOT clean properly, toilet was VERY, VERY, VERY!!!!! The sheets didn't look like they were clean. The so-call comforter had black marks on it nasty shower hasn't been clean and the floor was nasty. I hate that I booked a room like that 😒 I work in housekeeping over ten years and that was a MESS.

Stayed at the Hawthorn Suites for Thunder Beach Motorcycle Rally. The hotel is fine, it's clean and fairly quiet being that close to HWY 98. The staff are friendly and represents a good value for a stay.

The hotel is nothing like what the pictures show. The lobby and elevator stinks or has a pungent smell. Rooms were dirty and the staff did nothing anytime you asked. Almost like you were bothering them. The “breakfast” was horrible and they only put out enough for the first wave of people but once that was gone they never refilled anything. Not they clean anything and it looked disgusting. I will never stay there again.

the room was nice- I liked the small balcony we got- the A/C shut off in the middle of the night- not sure why- the doors (both to the outside balcony and the entrance door) was not functioning properly - very hard to close and slammed. the beds were comfortable- the free breakfast station was horrible- not manned- garbage overflowing- attendant would not provide napkins or food when things were not available-
