You will live there like real Parisians in contact with traditional shops and local markets.
This accommodation has been our main accommodation for twenty years, you will appreciate its comfort, the independence of the different living spaces, the great comfort of the immediate environment and the ease of intra-muros transport and connections to stations and airports.
You will have access to the entire accommodation with the exception of a room for reserve use

The homeowners were absolutely lovely. We're not used to being greeted by owners when renting a home, so this was a nice experience! They provided lots of complimentary coffee, pointed out things like hairdryers and the iron, and provided an extensive welcome packet with restaurants, markets, and other useful information. They even provided some outlet converters for our American phones and other items. It's a very spacious home with plenty of room for spreading out, dining, and game playing. In a good location near markets, restaurants, the bus, and metro. There is a bit of a learning curve for non-Europeans when it comes to the appliances, but that's to be expected! The owner was so helpful when I texted, and at other times, we just googled our questions.

Phillipe is a wonderful host. We were delayed a day upon arrival and he offered us a night at the end to make it up , which was very much appreciated. The apartment is spacious , clean and comfortable for 5 plus adults. The beds are comfortable and cosy as advertised . The neighborhood is wonderful with local markets and nice restaurants nearby . We had a marvelous week.

Philippe’s accommodations were the perfect fit for our family.The check in time and process worked out well after a long overnight flight.It is well-equipped. Lots of stairs to climb. The stairs weren’t a problem for us, but worth noting for others. The elevator is very small. The neighborhood is wonderful with easy access to markets, restaurants and the Metro.Thanks Philippe.

There were 7 of us on this trip. This apartment worked well for us. We never had any issues with use of bathrooms and the metro was close by. This was walking distance to cute little shops, dining options and markets. We had a great time in Paris!

Gorgeous, perfect Paris apartment

We had a fantastic stay in Paris. The apartment is generous is size, well-appointed and clean. The front room was a favorite from all members of our group, slow mornings there with coffee were a highlight of our trip. The location was perfect, quiet and removed enough from the busier parts of the city but so convenient to everything with metro stations and bus stations just feet away. The communications from the hosts were excellent. We all want to stay here again!

Dear Philippe and Christine, We had an amazing week at your beautiful home. It was so kind of you to meet us at your home when we arrived, and even kinder to assist us with our luggage up to the apartment on the 4th floor. Thank you so much. Us American girls don’t travel lightly. We loved being up on the 4th floor so we could watch what was going on around us. The location was perfect for walking to great restaurants, bakeries, and shopping. Even better the Metro was literally almost out the front door which took you wherever you’d like to go in Paris. We were very comfortable and loved having our own bedrooms since we were 4 women traveling together. We felt very safe, and could not have enjoyed our trip more. The other thing we are so grateful for is we left one of our phones in the apartment after we left for the airport. After contacting Philippe we asked him if he could send the phone to us as quick as possible in the United States. He not only mailed it the day we left which was Thursday, but it is expected to arrive to us on this coming Monday which is only 4 days after we left. Philippe was easily accessible if we had any questions about anything. I had absolutely no complaints, and would highly recommend their home to anyone traveling in Paris. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home and very warm hospitality with us.

Beautiful apartment in the 5th

We were a party of six, two couples and two individuals. The apartment was bright spacious and clean. It's a great location less than a block from the Metro and a bus stop in front of the apartment. Everything you need is within walking distance. The communication with the owners couldn't have been better, they met us at the apartment and gave us a thorough overview. We wouldn't hesitate to rent the apartment again, highly recommended.

Our Olympic Adventure

This apartment was ideal for our multi generational family. A short walk to shops and the metro and buses were right outside the apartment. We ranged all over Paris to different events. When we were not rushing off to events we were able to relax in comfort. There were multiple parks nearby for our grandson to play in and restaurants close by . Philippe was a helpful host and always available for any questions we had. Having both a washer and dryer was a big plus and they were easy to use. A big thank you from all of us.

Home away from home and so Paris!

We absolutely loved our time at Philippe's home. It was clean, comfortable, and so Parisian. It is so easy to get anywhere you need to go in Paris and the area around rue mouffetard is a perfect place to enjoy all the best of the city. The host made sure we were incredibly comfortable and answered all questions very promptly. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying there again! We went with young kids, and they also thought it was fantastic!

Best family holiday

We had a wonderful time in Paris with our adult children and partners. The nearby markets and cafes were great to experience and the avenue des gobelins metro and bus lines meant we could explore the museums, galleries and flea markets very easily. The configuration of the house gave us plenty of space to dine or catch-up together and also have time separately when we wanted. We would stay here again!

Perfect for "girls" trip

We were 4 older women staying in Paris and this home allowed us to each have some space of our own, along with gathering room in living room, kitchen and dining area. Was convenient for us as we taxied or walked lots, and there was an elevator to assist in the 4 floors, although some of us walked and got great exercise! Full kitchen for storing bottles of wine, extra cheeses and pastries. Owner was easy to get a hold of if any questions. Couldn't have asked for much more!

Perfect Flat in Latin Quarter

I cannot say enough about this property and hosts. We arrived and everything was as shown in photos. Philippe and his wife were the best! He was helpful and quickly answered any questions we had as we were planning our trip and was extremely helpful upon check in. Apartment is fully stocked with everything you need on a family vacation and the apartment was so large, everyone could have their own space. If you are looking for a clean, cozy and parisian apartment, look no further. This is your place.

Large but cozy, updated yet historic perfect Paris retreat

Our two daughters and sons-in-law generously treated my husband and me in celebration of our eightieth birthday. Each couple had a bedroom and bathroom, a large living room and dining room for gathering and sharing early mornings and late evenings. The well equipped kitchen was terrific and spacious. The apartment afforded wonderful togetherness as well as critical alone time. The Paris location was convenient, lively and close to bus and metro stations. The famous market on Rue Mouffetard nearby was a constant source of delicious meals, snacks and strolls. All six of us totally enjoyed our visit. The owner, Philippe Charles, was kind, helpful and a text away whenever we had a question or request. This is the best Paris home-away-from home! We totally enjoyed our visit.

Large family apartment in Paris

My family of 4 adults and 1 child had a wonderful stay at Philippes home in Paris. We struck some heatwave weather but survived well due to fans and the fact the apartment wraps around a central courtyard. This means when it is hot in one room you can usually find a room where it is cooler.The apartment is also situated near many cafes, bars and metros. Communicating with Philippe was so easy and he was very kind to solve our issue when we accidentally left the keys in the apartment. Thankyou Philippe for a fantastic stay!!

We loved this charming apartment!

This wonderful apartment was the ideal space and location for our intergenerational family of 7! The apartment is so spacious that we all had privacy in our rooms and hardly heard each other except when we gathered together in the sunny living room or kitchen. Every room opens to the courtyard which allows for a wonderful cross ventilation breeze. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with every modern high end appliance (Bosch dishwasher and washing machine and dryer), and a wonderful array of dishes, glasses, mugs, etc. Philippe is extremely generous in leaving paper supplies and items such as coffee and spices. Living in the Latin Quarter was wonderful with all sorts of cafes, markets, and restaurants nearby and the neighborhood is quiet and charming. Every evening we enjoyed walking down the street to Rue Mouffetard to buy wine, cheese and sundries for happy hour and breakfast. We could not have had a better place to stay in Paris!

Very enjoyable stay

I highly recommend this apartment. We had 7 total people stay with us, including 2 kids, for a wedding. The neighborhood is very nice, safe and close to the subway, bus lines, restaurants and grocery stores. Philippe and his wife welcomed us when we arrived. Their home is clean, large and well kept. It has a washer/dryer and the kitchen has everything you will need. It’s on the 4th floor so you can walk or take a small elevator. We felt comfortable and we were very happy with our choice to stay there. Philippe is a great host and was very communicative with us via WhatsApp if we had questions about our stay.

Great location and everything you need for a terrific trip!

We loved Phillipe’s apartment. It was homey and well located close to metro, taxis, shopping and Rue Moufettard. A dream week in Paris!

Everything about 19 avenue des Gobelins and its attentive host Philippe was 5-star! Thank you Philippe for making your beautiful apartment available to our family for this very special (once in a lifetime) vacation. My wife and I, along with our two sons and their partners, stayed in Philippe's apartment for 7 glorious days during the first week of the French Open tennis championships. The apartment was exceptionally large (for Paris) allowing all couples a welcome degree of privacy. In addition to being spacious the apartment was meticulous, well furnished and stocked with everything we needed. This included two showers and a bathtub along with endless hot water! We also enjoyed the beautiful living room with floor to ceiling windows and elegant shutters. In addition to the 3 bedrooms there was also a den with a pull-out sofa, TV and desk/chair. The Gobelins neighbourhood was also exceptionally convenient. Located in the 5th arrondissement, just outside the busy tourist area, we had access to the transit and bus systems within short walks from our front door. Cafe's, bakery's & markets were also in our neighbourhood. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We highly recommend this apartment and its kind/efficient host Philippe. Thank you again! We will forever treasure our memories of Paris!

Wonderful in every way

Great apartment. Quiet bedrooms. Good beds. Very clean. The manager was so helpful when one of our group became Ill He told us what clinic to call. The SOS Medecin clinic is very close if needed. Grocery stores, pharmacy, and boulangeries all very close. Taxi stand at the corner. . The elevator is small of course but works very well. Perfect apartment.
