Good location but noisy.
Pros:Location was nice.
Cons:A good fan that makes noise to drown out the other noises and provides some cool air.
Location:Close to landmarks and restaurants.
This hotel is near to the Eiffel Tower and restaurants. It is clean and nice in appearance. Staff were nice as well. The room is small and a bit stuffy, even in late September. We could hear every noise such as doors opening and closing and people talking and walking up the stairs. Might be ok for a night or two, but it was terrible for a longer stay as we never slept well, even with earplugs in.

Slightly Disappointing
Hotel convenient to Eiffel Tower and local faculties. Not too far from Metro
Room was tiny, bathroom even more so.
No remotes for the TV and when asked was told "well all the TV is in French anyway".... slightly condescending.
Reception guy giving his views on Uber and how it is slavery not really needed
Coffee possibly the worst I have had ever!
I m sure there are lots of hotels like this in Paris - where welcoming and care is not really the top priority, just going through the motions

Wonderful location
Eiffel Rive Gauche is a comfortable, clean hotel in a great location close to great restaurants, fruit markets, patisseries etc, subway fairly close by, and obviously right near the Eiffel Tower. The area feels very safe at all times.
The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful with one or two exceptions. Rooms are small (to be expected in Paris) but clean- they really need to get tea and coffee facilities in the rooms though. Can be noisy at times as all the rooms face a central courtyard.
The only real con I have is the price of the breakfast (€13) for what you get- very poor choice of cereals and a few pastries etc. Some people have said that the free cheese and wine at night makes up for this, however if you don't drink alcohol that's not really the case :-)
Anyway, overall I had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel for its affordability, location and helpfulness of the staff.
