As a family of 4, we felt cramped in this property. There was no place to sit and eat as a family. The bedroom door could not be closed due to the double bed blocking it from closing (and the double bed was pressed up against the opposite wall/window). There was no privacy. This property would be better suited for a single person or maybe a couple. The online description stated that there were 2 bathrooms, but the property only has 1 bathroom. No toiletries, washcloths, or hand towels were provided, and there was only 1 roll of toilet tissue for our family’s five-night stay. The bathroom shower also had quite a bit of mold, and the once-white bathroom rug was stained and dingy. The whole place felt a little dusty.We visited Paris during a historic heat wave, and we knew there would be no air conditioning, but the host only provided 1 small personal-sized fan that was missing the power cord. We used our own cellphone USB-C cord, but unfortunately, the USB-C plug of the fan was loose so the fan would not work unless the cord was constantly held in place by hand. So basically, the fan did not work. The inside temperature of the property was easily 90 degrees F at night even with the windows wide open. When we messaged the host about a fan she said there were 2 fans available. The host never responded when we told her we could not find a second fan.Overall, we regretted choosing this property as it was not suitable for a family of 4, and we did not feel welcomed as guests.
