The property was very nice. Air conditioning didn’t work that great but luckily it wasn’t too hot out. Staff was very nice. Location was close to the train station. All in all, I’d stay here again.

Hotel was very nice, although we had a broken tile in our bathroom shower enclosure. Sex shop next door is not great for visitors with kids but I appreciate it’s not the hotel’s fault.

Plastic mattress protectors

A disappointing experience, had to cancel after the first night. They use plastic mattress protectors on their beds - noisey when you rollover and terribly hot to sleep on, they don’t breathe. I woke up 4am and couldn’t get back to sleep. Reception & housekeeping wouldn’t accomodate removing the mattress protector, so I was forced to cancel my remaining 2 night and look for accomodation elsewhere. I’ve never before stayed at a hotel that use plastic mattress protectors. Unnecessary, wool protectors are sufficient. Plastic is uncomfortable.

Some of the rooms with balconies are amazing! We did have one issue with the air conditioning, and were moved to a different room (it was kind of a downgrade though but not totally awful), but then our second stay on that trip was in a nice balcony room- those are nice!!!

We checked in and the air conditioning was broken in all three rooms we reserved. My son laid down on the bed and within ten minutes a bed bug crawled on him. Luckily we hadn’t unpacked anything, so we quickly left our rooms and went to the front desk. I was very discreet and showed him the video, he claimed he can only refund me for one room. I’m obviously uncomfortable and not allowing my family to sleep in any of the rooms at this point. He said he would have the manager call me the next day, that never happened. We called back the third day and the manager assured us they’d refund us. A week has passed and no refund, we called IHG direct and they informed us that hotel front desks cannot issue refunds. They opened up a case for us and assured we would hear back within 48 hours. Do not trust the Holiday Inn Paris. Also, there’s a sex shop right next door, so if you’re taking your family there, be aware. That should’ve been our first clue!

Located next to Gare du Lyon train station. Lots of transportation options. Main squares located near by. If you are going into the main center of the city often for your trip it’s about a 25min train into the main areas.

We liked the location. The first day we there The bathroom flooded. We did not get the room cleaned until we left. On our last night the AC broke ! We were given a fan that we could not use due to how loud it was. It was exhot . We cracked the windows but flies came in and mosquitos. When we checked out we were given the option of getting our breakfast back which we had already paid for. Terrible stay. Regret so much picking this hotel!! There was a little sign that I took a picture of that said if we were not satisfied with any we would get that part refunded. Flood was not our fault, broken ac was not our fault
