A clean, quiet and sufficient hotel with some character in a fabulous central part of Paris, that makes it a treasure. I’d recommend this hotel to others and hope to return.

Thumbelina would have been comfortable.

Pros: Central location walking distance to Notre Dame.
Cons: Staff all but one were not helpful but very polite one was both helpful and polite.
Location: Central location walking distance to Notre Dame. Nearby restaurants run by mid-eastners although labeled international & not clean. Starbucks nearby.
Well I was put on the top floor that was pleasing, the lift cabin is 92 cm deep by 104 cm wide, so I fit with my luggage on top of my feet staked up. Room had a double bed and a wardrobe, walk-able space around both was 40 cm only on all sides. Window wall was slanted a la cape cod and below the slant was a small table. Bathroom was tiny, toilet was a child toilet I mean child toilet where only 1 part of your anatomy would be over the target zone, thus for 1 and 2 you had to constantly re-position your person. Shower had corner opening panels, 30 cm each when fully open one gets a diagonal entry space of about 50 cm, and the confined shower space when closed is 75 cm by 89 cm thus you had room to move 1 hand to turn water on and off not much else. Everything was old but very clean. Bed was rudimentary and had only 1 pillow, if you were tired you slept if not you never got comfortable. Room is cold central heating set to minimum (to save them money I guess), I bought a cheap fan heater and warmed the room up that way.

Didn't have the room we booked

I booked a twin room some months ago but in check in was told none were available. Wouldn't provide a roll away bed as an alternative either. I recieved no prior notice that a twin room was not available otherwise I would have booked somewhere else. Room was relatively clean but smelt like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. The shower head has no bracket so you have to hold it - most annoying.

Great location

Pros: Great location
Cons: An elevator from the ground floor
Great location. Small rooms but so are most places in Paris. Friendly English speaking staff. Difficult to drag heavy suitcases up to the Reception and elevator located on 1st floor.
