Lovely staff. Very uncomfortable room set up.

The bathroom was down a flight of steep narrow stairs and this was not advertised in the room booked and its pictures. This was very uncomfortable as the stairs were right when you enter the room, very steep and narrow, making the multiple trips to the bathroom or to wash hands etc very uncomfortable especially during the night. No hand rail is present except for a loose dangling rope which would for sure come down with me if I fell :). I asked for another room but told not available. As a solo female I also found uncomfortable the fact that the door does not physically lock from inside. I asked reception and they told me the door locks automatically, however I still would have preferred and felt safer if i could physically lock the door behind me not just rely on technology. Boys at reception were very nice and cordial and helpful.

Fantastic stay at the Hotel du Continent. We were there for three nights. The location is tremendous with easy walking access to landmarks, museums and the metro. The staff was incredibly accommodating and generous, answering every question we had about the area.The room was clean and comfortable, with amenities provided. We would absolutely stay there again.

The hotel is very close to Rue Rivoli and within walking distance from multiple attractions like the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay and easily reached by public transport from Gare du Nord. The staff are friendly and helpful, we particularly appreciated the pre-arrival email with useful guidance on where to go/eat etc. Our room was comfortable and quiet. There was the small issue of the heating system being repaired on our second day and no hot water/heating until late that evening but we were out most of the day and were loaned an electric heater for the room. Would recommend for families and those coming to Paris for a short stay and wanting to pack lots of sights in.

Located in an upscale area with many fancy stores and nice restaurants around. We ate at the Alfred’s close by and it was amazing food and service. We walked at the louvre then catch a taxi to Notre dame and then to Eiffel tour . It was a night lay over so we enjoyed a nice Christmas night at the city of lights. Breakfast options close by . We got Bolt instead of taxi to drives us there and to the airport , less expensive . Room was comfortable for 3 people , nice bathroom . Cute touch to gift us a an Eiffel Tower key ring that my teenager daughter liked .

Perfect location, great style

I thought this hotel was just perfect for the price. If you need a spacious room this isnt your best bet -- the room is tiny -- but it was immaculate, stylishly decorated and efficient. Lovely breakfast, and you cant beat the location. Will stay again

I’ve stayed here before in a larger room and loved it. My room this time wasn’t as large which is fine but it wasn’t as clean and the heat wasn’t great for my November stay. I was freezing all night and couldn’t get it any warmer. Last stay I loved though.

Lovely hotel in great location

We loved our stay here. Great location - close to Tuileries Garden and Place de la Concorde. You can walk to most attractions. Beds super comfortable, great shower with huge bath. Staff were very friendly and gave great assistance. You leave key when you go out which worked well. We didn’t try the breakfast. There was an elevator. Room was a good size for Paris - small but big enough.

A jewel in the heart of Paris

This boutique hotel was an incredible find. Right in the heart of Paris in a very safe area. Minutes walk to Place Vendome, rue St Honore and Place de la Concorde. Lots of fabulous restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend a stay here. Worth paying Euros12 for the continental breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The location is perfect - close to attractions, metro stations and restaurants. The property is on a smaller street so it was a quieter experience while still being close to all the wonders that Paris has to offer. The front desk staff was exceptional as well, helping us with recommendations, reserving taxis, and just being overall accommodating in answering all of our questions. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Paris!
