Great location but NOTE currently being renovated

My second stay at Hotel Mondial. Please note. The hotel is currently being renovated (May 2025). Therefore there is building work noise during the day, including Saturday. Unfortunately I was not assigned a newly renovated room so I am unable to comment on the new rooms. My room was fine, although very tired. Fortunately I booked early and secured a good price. The bed was extremely comfortable, less so the pillows. But I am a very fussy pillow user! The bathroom was small and the toilet was temperamental. There is a kettle, which was welcome, with top up drinks in the foyer, and bottles of water in the fridge. The breakfast is buffet style and plenty of simple choices to fill you up. The biggest negative for me was that the room was at the front of the hotel and therefore was very noisy with nighttime revellers passing by until the early hours. The previous room was at the back of the hotel and extremely quiet. The local area is buzzing and busy. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Metro stations close by and in a great area for exploring. I would stay again but I would insist on a room away from the main entrance.

Great location, good room

Cite Bergère is a great location, just off the buzzing boulevards. Mondial is one of a few hotels in this enclosure, well maintained, renovated rooms, 24h reception and decent breakfast for €8. Ideal to spend a night, probably good to stay for a few days as well

The hotel is well place close to the metro. The hotel team was very helpful and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble. We did not book breakfast but it looked amazing. The room was very clean and had everything you could need.

My room was in terrible condition. Well worn out. It was my last 2 nights in Paris and I didn't want to go and complain to the reception. I hope it was the only such room in the hotel. But the breakfasts at the hotel were good - that's the only good thing.

Overall an acceptable hotel but some of the decoration is tired, could do with deep cleaniing. Daily cleaning was good by the staff. The breakfast items were very good, almost 'Full English' as opposed to continental. Could do with a new Toaster, one where the handle to push the bread down doesn't keep falling off!!! If visiting Paris again, I would use this hotel once more. Very close to a Metro Station which is always a bonus!

Hotel.com charges double

The hotel was super. Not happy with hotel.com for over charging. I booked an extra night for 73 euros but had to pay double that for 3 nights booked thru you. Doesn’t seem right. Not a happy camper….

Wonderful experience.

The location was brilliant! We arrived at Beuvais Airport. Thinking this was quite far, we got the coach to Paris and then the metro to our hotel. There are 3 metro stations close to the hotel and many eateries as well as halal food options. Lots of shopping and central site seeing. A splendid experience! First time in Paris, won’t be our last!! The hotel was accommodating although I didn’t know about the booking tax (small fee) and refundable deposit which is refunded at checkout and received later that day.

Im a frequent traveller and I dont have too much expectations. Pro: Cozy bed, location, they speak English even its a FRENCH hotel. Cons: -Bathroom small even for 1 person - There is a Deposit, they charge immediatel, but when you leave early its hard to get back cause there's nobody avaiable to check the room, - Breakfast is 6:30 -10:00 am, but at 6:30 they just start to put out the food. After 8:00 am many foods are out and nor refilled. - Asking an invoice is a challenge for the receptionist. I added 3 times the details and they still not recorded it.

Great Place to stay in Paris

The hotel was very conveniently located at the metro station with many eateries and shops. Clean lobby and room. Have stayed here for the third time and will choose this stop again when travelling to Paris. The staff are helpful.
