Fabulous! My room was ready early, the staff are friendly and the location has the feel of a village. There is a metro stop across the road, and you can easily walk to both the Gare du Nord (fantastic for the Eurostar to London) and the Gare de l'Est. The main street has all the traditional shops as well as a little supermarket (a baker, a cheese shop, a butcher, a cafe/bistro). You are also very close to Canal St Martin which is a lovely walk.

Room was clean and tidy. Heating was easy to manage. The bathroom looked relatively new with a nice clean modern shower unit. Staff were always friendly and helpful all of whom spoke good English. Breakfast had a wide choice including boiled or scrambled eggs and the usual range of continental cereals, meats, cheeses and breads.

Upon arrival, the room smelled of strong floral carpet cleaner. I asked for another room but none were available. The nice guy at the front desk gave us an ozone machine to help remove the smell. After an hour of use, it did help to allay part of the smell. Overall, the hotel needs to be updated and the carpets in the rooms and hallways need to be changed. The bathroom was freshly remodeled and the breakfast had a lot of great choices.

Very cute boutique hotel close to metro train station. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly checking in and out. Only negative was the very busy intersection (I don’t think you can escape that in Paris however), and I wish the breakfast had more options.

I arrived in the morning and asked to leave my luggage. They said that if I could wait 25 minutes, they'd get me into a room. That was at 10:00 a.m. The bed, pillows, and linens were extremely comfortable. I was put into a handicapped room, so the shower was a bit of a challenge. The Metro is right outside the door. There are.lots of busses, and it's walking distance to Le Gare à l'Este. The Canal St. Martin is just a couple of blocks away. There are a lot of cafés and restaurants in the neighborhood, especially international ones. I had dinner in a Tibetan one. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel

We staying for 2 nights at this great hotel before catching the Eurostar. The location is walkable to the gare du nord and there is a metro station just the other side of the road. The room was very comfortable and clean with a small but well appointed bathroom. There was tea and coffee, they used disposable cups which would be my only negative point.

We’ve had a fantastic stay. The staff are all absolutely lovely. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely - and not an issue that we hadn’t booked in advance. We are able to check in early as our room was ready, and they kept our bags whilst we squeezed the last few hours out of our stay in Paris. Is definitely recommend.
