I booked this hotel for a business trip for the week. Upon arrival the hotel did not have any confirmation of my booking, despite email from Expedia confirming my booking and also the payment being made in full prior to my stay. The hotel had a spare room for one night then I had to leave the following morning and seek alternative accommodation, which was extremely inconvenient. I travel a lot and have used Expedia for most of trips, I have never experienced this before. The hotel didn't do enough to try to rectify the situation and didn't seem at all bothered about asking me to leave to find alternative accommodation. I never had an apology and never received the confirmation email from the hotel that I requested to confirm the situation. Very disappointing all round.

Nice hotel, rooms small which is normal for European City hotels. Room was clean and bathroom was OK. Great location close to a train/subway stations....also close to some good restaurants. Price was a little high for the quality of the hotel vs US hotels.

Though a small hotel, Hotel R is big on excellent service, friendly and helpful staff and clean,chic and comfortable albeit bijou accommodation. Perfect for a couple of nights stay in Paris.

Not impressed...

Just spent 1 night for business. The room was rather small and simple/few amenities. Staff was nice although they did forget to give me an ironing board when I asked for the iron. Overall it doesn't seem worth the money nor 4 stars.
