This beautiful duplex of 2150 sq ft has been renovated in February 2024, with all modern conveniences. Set in a modern building next to the Pompidou center, on the fourth floor with a lift, facing south, this property is located in the heart of the Marais, the most vibrant arrondissement of Paris, in walking distance from many attractions like the Louvre, Picasso museum, Place des Victoires, Saint-Eustache's church and even Notre Dame. The neighbourhood is surrounded by many nice restaurants, organic stores, bakeries, supermarkets and liquor stores. All windows are double glazed and sound proof (although there is not much noise on this pedestrian area to begin with!)

The apartment's layout and its size will provide you with ample space to relax and to enjoy your own privacy. The living room set upstairs overlooks the gorgeous rooftop of 1615 sq ft with his flowers, tomatoes plants and even a palm tree. It also has a grill, long chair and a outdoor table for 6 people. Ideally suited for two couples or a family with children, the two bedrooms sleep 4 guests comfortably and a sofa bed will provide 2 additional persons. The 2 bedrooms are master bedrooms and have king size beds. There's toilet in each bathroom and an additional one upstairs.
The sitting room is very large and has a modern dining table. The kitchen has been designed and equipped to enable you to cook a wonderful meal. It has a lovely, large black Carrara marble work area and faces the dining area.

The apartment has a state of air conditioning system and there is also a central heating in each room, including the bathrooms; free high speed wifi ; 3 flats screens TV, Netflix, DVD player, guide books, washer dryer, microwave, induction hob, Gaggenau oven and stove, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and dishwasher.

The closest Metro station is Rambuteau, 1 minute away and Velibs (bicycles that can be rented daily or weekly and are a great way to explore Paris) are close by. The airports and the main train stations can easily be reached by public transport or by taxi and you will receive a mail containing all information and direction you need once the apartment is booked.

Marcello was a great host. He was friendly, informative, and detail-oriented. We had a walk-thru on the rental and were given information about the neighborhood. The location was great for walking around even late at night; lots of restaurants, pharmacy, and supermarkets. It's also walking distance to various attractions with metro station at the corner. It was very quiet in the rental even when it's noisy outside. We had a comfortable stay. Thank you Marcello!

Family Paris Adventure!

Our family of four had an amazing four days in Paris at this property. It's steps from the Pompidou Centre and everything you need is at your fingertips as you walk out the front door of the apartment: great restaurants, cafes, shopping, grocery, fruit, the metro, etc. It is a 10-15 minute walk to Ile de la Cite, where you will find both Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle cathedrals. The property has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, has a great kitchen and has air conditioning. The highlight of the property is the private rooftop deck/garden. It was amazing!Marcello is a wonderful host and met us at check-in and at checkout! Thank you!! We hope to return.

Just stayed at Marcello’s place for 5 nights and it was wonderful. It was spacious and had everything we needed. I was impressed by Marcello’s attention to details - there were guide books to read, recommendations, a binder with directions, umbrellas, laundry soap, and even adapters for our phones! My husband and I stayed with our two adult children, and it was so nice to have 2 bedrooms and bathrooms so that we all had our own space. Thanks to Marcello’s for being a great host!

So nice, we stayed here twice!

Our first stay in this apartment was in November 2019 and we loved it so much that when we made a return trip to Paris five years later, we were thrilled to see it was available again! Marcello was an excellent communicator and very gracious host who made sure that our stay went smoothly. The apartment is extremely well situated--many Metro lines are easily accessible, and it is within easy walking distance of the Marais and Notre Dame. The apartment has everything you need and was a comfortable stay for this family of four with two teens. The rooftop garden is an amazing bonus--having our morning coffee and baguette amongst the tranquil greenery makes you feel like you've been transported out of the city! This is a wonderful apartment and I highly recommend it for your trip to Paris!

The apartment was perfect for our three sisters trip. The beds were super comfortable, our host was most accommodating and helpful. We took advantage of the roof top garden every night. We had a wonderful stay at this flat in Paris! The location was unbeatable—in a quiet, charming neighborhood filled with great restaurants and shops, yet just steps from the metro and walkable to Notre Dame and other key sights.Two absolute highlights: the air conditioning, which was a lifesaver during a hot week in Paris, and the elevator—so many places we looked at were stairs-only, so having a lift made a huge difference. Save your energy for exploring the city, not climbing up to your room!The roof terrace was magical, the perfect spot to relax after a long day. And the host was incredible—friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond. He arranged airport transfers, met us at the flat to show us around, and left excellent recommendations for places to eat and shop.Merci for a fantastic stay—we’d absolutely come back!

Wonderful Stay/Beautiful Apartment

Our time in Paris was fantastic, made all the better by our beautiful VRBO apartment, the location and Marcello, our generous host. We, as a multi-generational family of five, needed an apartment with space for grandparents, adult children and a grandchild. Marcello’s apartment was perfect. It was lovely, clean, comfortable and a home away from home when we returned from sightseeing. To cap all of that, there was a private terrace off of the upper level which was landscaped with flowers, small trees and shrubs. It was breathtaking.The apartment was located near the Marais, around the corner from the Pompidou Center. There were small shops and charming cafes and restaurants close at hand. Transportation on buses and the metro was easy to use. We made our way to iconic landmarks but spent as much time exploring “our neighborhood”.Finally, we can not thank Marcello enough for his kind attention. He greeted us upon arrival. He showed us around the apartment, answered questions about appliances, temperature controls and so on, provided an array of Paris guides, offered a folder of information about the area with restaurant recommendations and was available for questions during our stay. He arranged transportation to and from the airport and came to see us off as we left to fly home. He was a kind gentleman and a superb host.

Marcello very responsive. Met us on arrival and booked our airport pickup and departure taxi van for 5. Well equipped for eat in and many restaurants adjacent to property. 10 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. Metro stop yellow line right beside. Best Paris stay. Note the bigger bedroom only separate by a screen curtain. Good big bathrooms. Lovely rooftop patio.

Excellent Location!

Marcello’s place is perfectly located, walkable to many of the amazing places Paris has to offer. Marcello is readily available as needs arise and even arranged our transport to the airport upon departure. Additionally, groceries, cafes, and pharmacies very near by. It is a large unit with room for 6 comfortably, with the master bedroom boasting a king size bed. A rooftop garden, fully equipped kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms, makes it a lovely location for families. I highly recommend this VRBO location.

The Best! So Cozy!

Our family had an amazing time at Marcello’s place. The lift and stairs were very easy to access and the flat was so cozy that we immediately felt right at home. The king bed in the open downstairs master was so comfortable! Our sons had their own spaces that were made up for them on very comfy beds and loved relaxing in the open kitchen area. The neighborhood is in a pedestrian area, which is fun to walk around. I would highly recommend! Marcello met us to help show us how to enter the flat and how to work everything when we arrived and also met us early in the morning when we headed out to our next destination. Best host I have had!

Perfect location in an amazing apartment!

We are a family of 5 traveling with our 3 teenagers so the apt was perfect for us and everyone had space to spread out. One of our children uses a wheelchair and the apartment was also ideal for that as plenty of open space for him to move around. Access to the elevator was very easy and fit his chair no problem! Just as all the reviews say, Marcello is so easy to work with and helped coordinate transportation from the train station as well as for the airport.The bakery around the corner is delicious and we enjoyed warm baguettes and croissants each morning.Hope to visit Paris again soon and when we do we will definitely stay here again!

The host was very communicative, attentive, and accommodating before, during, AND after our stay. Apartment: - The primary bedroom does not have an actual wall or door (this was OK with us). - The kitchen was fully furnished and the refrigerator was spacious. Location: - The apartment was located very close to a metro station so traveling through Paris was easy (you do need to learn which trains stop where and when you need to switch trains). - There are so many restaurant options nearby. - There is a grocery store a few minutes away so it was easy to buy groceries, water, etc. and walk back to the apartment.

Great Place and Location

What a perfect spot to be in Paris. Loved all the walking only streets that were full of restaurants/bakeries. You can walk to many places in 20-30 minutes. Marcello is amazing to work with. He meet us at the apartment and explained how everything worked. He arranged for transportation to the airport for a group of 4 which is not easy to do, especially early in the morning. He even came to the apartment to see us off. We were in need of medical services and he provided contact information for an English doctor...so appreciated his concern and assistance. The terrace is a beautiful place!

Best Location, Best Host

Ample space in a great location with many restaurants, groceries and shopping with easy access to the Metro. Rooftop garden was wonderful after a busy day. One thing to be mindful of though was the total lack of privacy/ soundproofing in the master bedroom. The screen is completely see through to the kitchen so if you don’t all get up at the same time that’s a problem. If you’re all family then this may not be an issue for you. Marcello is a fantastic host. He responds quickly and is very helpful arranging transportation to from the airport or train station.

Perfect Apartment - Perfect Location

Marcello was a great host! There was great communication, he met us on arrival, having arranged transport from the airport, and checked in periodically to make sure everything was great, and we wanted for nothing. The outside terrace was unique and unusual for apartments in Paris and since the weather was so nice, it was our go-to place. We even hosted a cocktail party for family and friends! Coffee and croissant in the morning was perfect. He met us on departure and again, arranged a ride from the apartment to the airport. The apartment could not have been in a better area! Not only was it in the center of things, it was cemetery quiet as it was located on a pedestrian only area, so no outside noise. Being right in the Marais was perfect as we walked, literally everywhere, clocking 6 miles per day, but tons to do around the area. I would definitely go back again for these longer stays. Thank you for sharing your wonderful apartment with us. The apartment was completely furnished and had all we needed for our 10 day stay, with maps and recommendations for things to do, Metro maps, activities and restaurants. Wifi was included and worked perfectly on our phones, though I could not get it on my laptop for some bizarre reason. TVs included access to all the major streaming services as well as BBC and all the normal broadcast stations. Kitchen was fully equipped, and was utilized throughout. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday! Loved it!!

Perfect Olympic home base

Beautiful space, exquisite outdoor patio, in the Marais, quiet, convenient. We will definitely try to stay here again the next time we are in Paris. Location could not be beat for using the train/Metro system. Great restaurants in a very lively neighborhood. And a very gracious host who made it easy for us to have a great experience.
