Great location, limited lift accesibility
This VRBO provided a compact yet efficiently arranged apartment, accurately depicted in photos with adequate storage and a well-equipped kitchen. The washer functioned well, although drying clothes requires strategic planning due to space limitations.
The neighborhood offered convenient access to numerous dining options and proximity to major tourist attractions. Nearby supermarkets such as Lidl and Monoprix provided diverse shopping choices.
The apartment had 3 clothes hangers, we requested more, they arrived the following morning.
Our check-in experience was marred by inadequate host communication, resulting in delays. Also, going up two flights of narrow spiral staircases with heavy luggage was arduous. The initial unresponsiveness from host regarding assistance with the luggage at checkout was disappointing and required escalation. Eventually, the host offered to help for a charge, which, after spending a substantial amount of euros, seemed petty.
As a digital nomad, the reliable internet facilitated uninterrupted work, though the limited table space and uncomfortable chairs posed challenges for extended work sessions.
Overall, the stay was positive. Improvements are needed in host responsiveness, an occasional sewage smell in the bathroom and listing of apartment amenities (an elevator that doesn't reach the apartment's floor is not an 'amenity').
