Customer service was great. We are over 60' and visited a number of countries in Europe. We booked 5 nights via Expedia and only discovered that the property was in fact a hostel, contrary to our understanding of the booking. After raising our concerns with Mr. Ethan Clard, he promptly cancelled our 5-night reservation and assisted us in rebooking for 2-nights in a private room with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom as they had no availability for the other nights. More than €1,000 was refudned to Expedia on the spot (11/10/2025), but Expedia refused to refund the money to us. It is now 20 days over and they still refused to refund our hard earned money. Expedia’s behaviour also contrary to their own Terms and Conditions: “Any refunds will be transferred back to the payment method used to make the original booking. Such refunds will be made by the party that took your original payment…". Make your booking somewhere else, NOT EXPEDIA. They are unethical and money hungry and would do anything to make your life in hell!

Great hostel! - 2minutes walk from the Sully-Morland subway station. Est 20minutes walk from Notre Dame. Friendly staff that accommodate a wide range of language. Bar and restaurant on second floor that offer a great selection. I grabbed a 4-bed with private bathroom and had zero complaints. Would happily return!

Overall, the room was not bad. Very clean and was comfortable enough for four people. The shower water saver was limited to a 15 second intervals. Instead of having an on and off style faucet it had push knob that would pop out every 15 seconds. Therefore, you need to keep pushing the knob to keep the water running. Towels, toilet paper and soap was limited. TV did not work on either of the rooms. I had. You are not allowed to eat in the room. A room for four people only had enough coffee for one. There wasn’t a store nearby that I could get coffee on my own. There were no cups in the room. Just two little ones for the Nespresso machine. If you like American coffee, the only place to get coffee was in the second floor café. Even though we had a private room with shower, this is a hostel hotel. The problem was with the description in Expedia was not good. We reviewed the description several times but nowhere in Expedia or other websites did it state the condition of the stay. If you’re accustomed to standard hotels with full sets of towels, working TV, blower, normal showers do not go to this hotel. Some of the hostesses were very good and some were very bad. They were not diligent about resolving any issues. If I would’ve known what I was getting into, I would’ve paid the additional hundred dollars a day to stay at a regular hotel or an Airbnb.

The beds are very private and cozy, I especially liked the busy bar, it was great ambience and had a variety of locals and visitors so gave us opportunity to meet people. Location was close to Notre Dame, the Latin district, and the Basilica. It was quiet but not too spooky.

The kitchen lacks supplies especially to boil water. It's alright cause there is a bar you can ask for hot h20. There is a fridge to store your food. A common room for us to chill. I like the location of the hostel which is close to the metro and even to the bus station terminal.
