Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Stay on 30/06/2025 Dear whom it may concern], I am writing to formally raise a number of concerns following our stay at your hotel on the night of 30th June 2025. 1. Fire Alarm Incident and Emergency Response At approximately 7:00 AM, the fire alarm was triggered and sounded three separate times. While I understand these systems exist for our safety, the handling of the situation was deeply concerning. We followed the emergency exit signage as instructed, but found the stairwell exit blocked by a Qatar Airways crew member and her suitcase. Despite being asked, she refused to move her luggage from the doorway. Upon reaching the emergency stair exit, we discovered the door was locked and would not open, even after three adult guests attempted to force it. Most troubling was the complete lack of visible staff presence or direction throughout this episode. This lack of guidance significantly added to the distress experienced by our children and other guests. 2. Check-In and Payment Dispute We had prepaid our booking via Expedia, but upon arrival the receptionist (Marie) insisted we had not paid and asked us to pay again. Despite showing our receipt and bank confirmation, she remained dismissive and unhelpful. Only after we contacted Expedia, who in turn spoke directly with the hotel, was the situation resolved. This unnecessary confrontation following a long journey was frustrating and disheartening. More to follow

Just what we needed!

busyStayed here for early airport departure. Great decision. The shuttle starts at 6am, but we had to be there at 430. Front desk arranged for car service, which was prompt, friendly, and on time. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and although busy, our room was very quiet. Thank you.

My room's AC did not work, and it took a while to get a new room, which greatly delayed my bedtime. I was hoping to have a long and good night's sleep. In the new room, there was no washcloth, small towels, or a hairdryer. The hotel was rather dirty and outdated. I had stayed in that hotel some years back when it was a Crowne Plaza hotel, which was wonderful at the time and it was the reason I opted for this hotel. The hotel is now under different ownership and it shows. I would not recommend it.

I liked the commitment of some of the staff. But also one staff in particular a member of management at the front desk was inattentive and passed the buck as if she did not want to be bothered. Limited vegetarian dishes in the restaurant, bed was nice and comfortable as well as the rare occasion of having a bathtub of which I enjoyed a warm bath. Yes, it was an average hotel.

Hotel staff very very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were clean and fresh. Bathroom perfect shower had good pressure and temp.

Actually. Booked reservation for 05/24/25 I got confirmed email about my stay n also called them confirmed my reservation went there at 12.30am they kept at lobby fir an hour n told me that I’ve only 2 person reservation not 4 person. Once we went into the room it was horrible stinky smell not able to sleep there and very hot no proper AC also , vacated early morning went out stayed outside . BenI never expected this horrible situation in Expedia recommended hotels in past 25 years anywhere. I use Expedia no of times this is the first time I had very bad experiences.

Great hotel. Conveniently located near the airport. We had the family room which was huge, had two separate bathrooms and a mini kitchen. Spotless clean and super comfortable bed. Even had the second bed ready for our daughter which was lovely. We did not need to have to set it up. Lovely. Highly recommend.

I checked in online and provided all my details, yet I still had to spend a long time at the reception. When I entered my room, the TV was on and displaying someone else’s name. It’s unacceptable, especially in a time when privacy should be a priority. I informed the staff, but they showed no concern. I was staying for two nights and requested cutlery to be sent to my room. A staff member said it would arrive shortly, but it never did. I was truly disappointed. No matter the price, basic service and respect should always be expected in such a setting.
