Didn’t eat breakfast. The only issue was the mechanical noise in the room from fans that ran continuously. Staff offered to let us switch rooms, but we elected to stay put. Not a serious problem, only mildly annoying.

Brand new hotel easy walking distance to the main square. The property is great including the roof top bar. The hotel breakfast was surprisingly good. With so many breakfast options in walking distance we choose to eat in the hotel each morning because it was so excellent

Been to Paso many times. We decided to go to Ava since it was new and believing they had a special on site restaurant “Emre”. Website advertises how great Emre is and reservations are recommended. Not true. The restaurant is not expected to open until the end of October. One evening we went to “Esperanza” on the rooftop. I can’t believe that in a restaurant on a roof with open air sides (no windows but a roof) that they would not have heaters. The wind was blowing, and the temperature was in the low sixties/high fifties. Could not wait to leave. Rooms are modern and tasteful. We were surprised that if you wanted to drink a cheap bottle of water it would cost you $3.00. Most hotels include cheap water bottles for free. There is no concierge, so don’t plan on asking for help making dinner reservations or information on wineries to visit.

Overall our stay at Ava was wonderul. Staff was friendly, grounds were clean, accommodations were great. Our main complaint was that out room was not ready and we did not have a reasonable wait time for it to become available. The initial time give was 20 minutes, which was fine as we did arrive avoit 10 minutes before check in. However after waiting 20 minutes we were told maybe 10 more minutes, after the additional 10 minutes passed we were asked to wait longer. We had a spa appointment at 445, so needles to sat we left to go to our appointment and came back after more than 3 hours and it was then ready. Now onto the dinning, we did have drinks at Esperanza on the rooftop and they were delicious, we did not try any mains. We did have breakfast at Pine Steeet Bustro and compared to the other delicoous and fresh options in downtown, I'd say go explore. There are many better options around for a less than 10 minute walk. With that said we would definitely return to stay bevzuse aside from the check in and food, or was wonderful.

Everything about this place was amazing. Best Paso experience in years. I'm already booking again before prices go up. Gorgeous pool and outdoor bar, rooms and location. Can't say enough nice things.
