Older building in the heart of Passau, making it very easy to explore the city on foot. Many eating establishments nearby, but be aware that many are closed on Mondays and/or Tuesdays. Note that there is NO elevator and the reception desk is on the “2nd” floor from street level. Our room with “private” bathroom was on the “3rd” floor. This was a bit difficult for us 70/80 year olds to lug our suitcases up and down the old stairs! Also the bathroom was not ensuite, but all the way down the hallway, which made it inconvenient for the night time visits. Our room was large, with a writing table and sofa. We had to turn up the heat in the room, since in was not “preheated” for us. Overall a nice place to stay- for younger folks!

Great location. Set in refurbished historical house so might not suit people with mobility issues. If you're happy with this the proximity to tourist sights and dining options combined with the reasonable tariff make it a good choice.

Great location. Pretty spacious rooms. No lift so difficult if you have trouble carrying bags up a few flights. Room was a bit noisy and not very dark at night.

Room was comfortable and clean and service was great. Only negatives were the stairs (we were on the top floor) and the noise from the bar below.

I loved this hotel - full of character, with spacious rooms, and right in the heart of the beautiful old town (10 mins walk from the station). The only downside was the absence of lift.

Sehr zentral gelegen, freundliches Personal. Negativ: sehr laut, da an der sehr belebten Straße. Leisten die von den Wänden fallen, kein Frühstück bei dem Preis dann doch zu erwarten.
