It is a nice hotel, although a bit worn. Nice staff, good breakfast. There is a lot of waiting time in the morning at the elevator. I am happy to stay there, have been to the hotel many times.

Problems with tap and shower head not staying in position were quickly resolved by lady at reception who moved us to a more modern room. Nice views from room, clean, pool good. Breakfast has plenty of Asian choices but western choice limited, no real bacon and sausages was hot dog.

The rooms were unfortunately very worn, and I must admit that I had expected a better standard than what we experienced. It definitely affected the overall impression, as the condition was clearly below what one would reasonably expect. That said, the hotel was perfectly located right by the beach. It couldn’t have been better if you’re looking for peace and quiet, while still being within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and local life.

There was a janitor door across from our room with the door left open. I’m not sure where the smell was coming from but there was a smell like sewage near our door. You may want to check that across from or in the hallway of 4503. The shower floor was slippery in the bathtub and outside the bathtub.

The hotel is dated and old looking. There was a constant musty smell of old around the entire hotel. Time to renovate the rooms, to bring the up to modern standards. Also, every day after house keeping cleaned the rooms they did not leave fresh towels in the room. Had to call several times to front desk to request fresh towels. Sometimes they were not delivered to the rooms until several hours after the call. Cheap price hotel, but cheap looking hotel and service. You get what you pay for I guess.
