House keeping would knock on doors at 9:30am whether you had a make my room sign on the door or not. Could not control the aircon and it sat between 24-26 my whole stay. In saying that, for the price, the hotel was fine if you are on a budget. Location was good and close to the beach.

5 star rating because of the staffs. Front desk receptionist were all absolutely amazing! So friendly, always a smile and always there to help! All the other staffs were all super friendly as well! Exceeded my expectations with price vs hotel condition vs staff!

The hotel is in a good spot but the rooms are in poor shape dirty floors needs a remodel I booked a different hotel and left within 20 minutes

If u love being woke up all hours of the night this is the place for u! What with the noise from the main strip and then the room next door rum-ping and the laughing and giggle talking loud after the rum-ping then goes out and gets another girl and starts again banging doors and moans and groans from his catch ended up complaining to front desk ! Then selfish louts coming back all different times of the early hours being loud and banging doors! Rooms could do with a lick of paint air con could not lower less than 25! Was told on arrival i had a up grade from a superior king room so i can only imagine how bad the superior king room must have been as the up grade was tripe! So not a good experience thankfully it was just one night avoid like the plaque unless you are a selfish lout who as no cares for those who want to sleep after all it is a hotel!

Checked in and was offered a ‘free upgrade’. We were absolutely delighted. Unfortunately what we were ‘upgraded’ to was filthy, mouldy and unsafe. After speaking to reception, we were told that maintenance would come and fix a balcony door that wouldn’t open and that we weren’t able to change rooms because they were fully booked. The room that we had booked originally wasn’t available, which was strange. After maintenance came and were not able to fix the door, they found a room for us to move to. This second room was certainly better but still had issues, like dirty towels, brown stains on light switches and on this balcony the wall had mould on it and was crumbling away. We are not usually people who complain and are used to backpack travelling, but we felt so uncomfortable here we had to change hotels. Staff were very nice, which saved Hotel Tropicana from a 1 star review from us.

I recently stayed at Hotel Tropicana Pattaya and had a disappointing experience. When I arrived, I was assigned a room on the 2nd floor, but the property has no elevator, which made carrying multiple heavy bags very difficult. Later that night, the water supply in my room stopped completely. I reported it, and maintenance came around 3 AM, which was very uncomfortable as the plumber had to enter and leave the room multiple times while I was trying to rest. The toilet flush also stopped working soon after. I had selected the breakfast option, but as a vegetarian I found very limited choices. The available items were minimal, while non-vegetarian guests had many options, so the breakfast didn’t feel worthwhile for vegetarian travelers. After speaking with reception several times, they eventually changed my room, but only later in the day. The experience overall felt stressful and not guest-friendly. Because of these issues, I would not recommend this hotel, especially for travelers looking for comfort and reliability.
