Location right on the beach was very handy, Breakfast was very comprehensive and delicious. The room was very spacious and clean..We stayed three nights and the only problem we had which is beyond the hotels control was Drunk, Loud mouthed Indians running amok who woke us up every night and refused to be quiet when asked.

Whilst the decor is over the top and slightly aging, the property is perfectly located to everything you could want in Patteya. The room is relatively large and comfortable, with Engligh TV channels. The buffet breakfast (until 11.00am) provided an abundance of food and variety. There was a handy mart on the ground floor too.The pool/steam room/sauna are was so lovely and added to our already wonderful stay.

The staff needs to speak English, none of them are able yo communicate except in Thai and this is no good for tourists !!!!!!!!!!

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in

Pros: Pool area Breakfast selection
Cons: Noise from inside the hotel - expected noise from outside
We were booked into LK Empress for 7 nights and left after 2. The standard rooms had a pump going on and off every 8 seconds !! No matter what you did you couldn't block out the noise. We asked to change rooms. They moved us 3 floors down, directly below the pump room. When we asked to try another room because we could still hear the noise the room they showed us not only still had the noise but smelt of damp. We decided it was time to leave at this point. We booked another hotel on line, packed out bags and went to check out. Upon checking out there was no apology for the noise, no one asked why we were leaving or any offer to make things right. Staff very disinterested - constantly on mobile phones. 2nd room we were moved too had holes in the walls and skirting boards ! Breakfast was good and pool area was well maintained.
