Based on prior reviews, everthing was pretty much as expected. The rooms are on the floors above a pizza restaurant. The check in is at the cashier's desk in the pizza place, so don't expect a lobby of any sort. Location on beach road is super convenient to beach and all the food places,bars in area. DO EXPECT lots of noise from perpetual traffic. This is the trade off. But room with oceanview balcony very nice, especially sunset. No lift. Your gonna climb stairs. Room AC worked well.

We actually were relocated to The Grand Lodge on Soi 13, which is perfectly situated, closeby to all amenities and Pattaya's famous walking street. Shopping and food is cheap around the area. Staff at The Lodge Jomtien 7 was very kind and helpful to arrange for the new location as it's the same hotel group. Breakfast is inclusive. All staff very helpful.

Not great

Hotel was of average standard which is expected for the price. On checking in i was left sitting down stairs for an hour and a half while they cleaned my room(i turned up at check in time). i actually had to push the staff for an update on when i was getting in, there was no rush. The wifi is terrible to the point you cant facetime anyone. The tv only has thai channels(unusual in a tourist area). If you are disabled i would not book this hotel as there is no lifts. I was on the 4th floor which meant hauling my bags up them. I was originally booked in for a week but checked out after 2 days. On the plus side the balcony affords great views.

Everything is good. Only the room in the middle have short curtains. So people can really see you through the windows. Especially the curtain is next to the bed. Feels not safe
