CHECK IN AND OT WAS EXTREMELY EASY AND SIMPLE.THE HOME IS COMPLETELY RENOVATED AND ACCOMPLISHED BY FINE CRAFTSMAN OF WOODWORKING AND MASONRY WORK. ENJOY A GLASS ON FINE BRUNELLO WINE, WHICHCAN BE SOURCEDLOCALLY ON THE BACK PORCH. CONVIENT TO ALL TUSCANY LOCATIONS. LOCAL GOLE COURSE HAS A GOOD RESTAURANT WE HAD LUNCH AT. WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS INCLUDED NUMEROUS PHESANTS, RABBITS, AND DEER. KITCHEN IS FULLY MODERN AND WELL EQUIPPED. We had a very happy stay at this home. I am someone who notices quality levels of things and I am very amazed at how every detail of the house and property are of the highest quality with never any expense spared. The pool area and views are beautiful. The outdoor dining table under the pergola was like an area from a movie or travel show. At times the view seemed so beautiful that it felt unreal - But it is real. I enjoyed the nearby small town of Ghizzano. It is very non-touristy and a lovely place to walk around or stop and have some espresso. I am from the USA, and I loved my time in Italy and the beauty and the people. I am admittedly very spoiled when it comes to ease of getting a large variety of groceries. That was something I did not figure out how to do in this region. I am not saying that as a problem, as we were out most of the time for lunches and dinners and I think it is more of a different way of food shopping than what I am accustomed to. Of the Etruscan walled towns within an hour or two, I liked Voltera the best. We also did an hour drive to Pisa to the train station and took the train to La Spezia to visit Cinque Terre. That was a long day but worth it. We went to Florence by catching the train from Pontedera. And also drove to the winery at San Gimignano where we greatly enjoyed the wine and the town. The owners were quickly responsive to messages. And the property manager, Sara, was also very sweet and responsive. Thank you.

Gorgeous property in magnificent location
We loved our stay at Monte Casano. The location is jaw-droppingly beautiful and the house was so comfortable, exactly as advertised. Having a well-stocked kitchen and laundry was invaluable and the pool was an added benefit. This property will be highly recommended by us to anyone we know who wants a place to stay in Tuscany.

First Class experience.
This is a truly special property which we thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. We were three couples looking for a relaxing stay after busy days in hectic Amalfi coast. Here it was like being in a zen spa! The infinity pool with views of iconic Italian country side was a total amazement. The pool is shared with two other rentals on same property. Three bedrooms with two baths en suite were good for our group. We cooked in every night and the kitchen was well suited to a group our side with a perfect outdoor seating area for meals. Recommend you do your shopping before you get to the villa as it is a 20 minute drive into the grocery store in Peccioli. Be sure to purchase basic condiments for meal prep. The Villa is indeed well off the main road but this was part of the charm of the experience for us. Such peace and quiet at night! Property manager was very helpful and advised us of some unusual visits in the area which we enjoyed, to include the Vespa Museum!

Beautiful Country Villa in Northern Tuscany
A ways off the main roads, this villa will not disappoint those willing to make the drive. Situated atop a hill with 360 degree vistas of the rolling hills. Very spacious “apartment” (1 of 3 on the property) but lots of privacy and very quiet. Modern furnishings in a restored old farm building. The master suite is huge; the other 3 bedrooms are quite adequate in size, one with en suite. Large modern kitchen with all the essential cookware, large refrigerator with separate large freezer in the adjacent laundry Very well maintained and clean. Larger than expected. All in all a wonderful place to stay in the countryside !

Best vacation ever
The listing does not do this rental justice. If you are looking for a beautiful quiet place in the middle of Tuscany ( there were 5 of us staying here). Easy to get to all areas of Tuscany. The property is absolutely beautiful and the pool is the best I’ve ever seen. Anna is fantastic manager. It was like a home away from home. Would definitely rent again. Rental had everything we could need as we did cook many meals. You do need a car as most things at least 10-20 minutes away . Nearby towns charming with great restaurants, grocery, e- bikes, etc. One of the best vacations I have ever had, was hard to,come back to reality. Thanks for everything!
