Welcome to your charming home away from home, tucked away in a quiet Penguin suburb. This original weatherboard cottage is the perfect base for your working holiday or a restorative weekend getaway.



We know how important it is to have a hassle-free stay whilst you're working away from home, and this space is designed for exactly that.



Living Area: Unwind in the cosy living room, offering peaceful views of a traditional cottage garden. It's the perfect spot to relax after a day of work or exploration.

Kitchen & Dining: You'll find a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm, giving you the freedom to create your favourite meals.

Dedicated Workspace: The second bedroom is a fully-equipped office, featuring two desks and screens for your use. It’s a seamless and efficient setup for any digital nomad.

Bedrooms: Two restful bedrooms, each with a comfortable Queen bed, promise a peaceful night's sleep.

Bathroom: A clean and modern bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Neighbourhood Description:

Penguin is a charming seaside town on Tasmania's beautiful northwest coast, and your cottage is perfectly positioned for you to enjoy its relaxed pace. Whilst tucked away in a quiet residential area, you're just a short drive from the town's famous giant penguin statue, the picturesque esplanade, and a selection of lovely cafes and local shops. It’s a friendly, welcoming community, offering a wonderful slice of coastal Tasmanian life.



Guest Access:

Guests will have private access to the entire cottage. Ample off-street parking is provided, along with free on-street parking.



House Rules:

To ensure a comfortable and respectful experience for all our guests and neighbours, we kindly ask that you observe the following rules. We believe in clear and empathetic communication, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.



Quiet Hours: Please be respectful of our neighbours and observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

Smoking: This is a strictly non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage or near any open doors or windows.

Pets: We are delighted to welcome your pets. A fee of $100 per pet applies to cover additional cleaning.

Children: Children are welcome. Please be aware, however, that the house is not specifically set up for the safety of babies and toddlers.

Check-out: To ensure our team can prepare the cottage for the next arrival, please adhere to the agreed check-out time. A late check-out fee of $50 per 15-minute increment will apply.

BBQ Use: If you enjoy using the BBQ, we ask that you please leave it clean after use. A $50 penalty will apply if it is left dirty, as this requires additional time from our cleaning contractors.
