Could have been better.

The stay could have been better. There were several things in the hotel that were a red flag. The outlets did not work in various places, we did not receive services to change our sheets, the room had a moldy odor, and the bathroom was not up to par.

The location was perfect. The beach access was perfect. The hotel room was not clean. The sinks were clogged the whole time. The hotel needs some simple TLc. If you are looking for a place to sleep with no frills, this is the place for you.

Overall we had a wonderful stay for the price. The view from our room was amazing and worth the trip. House keeping kept our towels stocked and trash taken out every day. The onsite bar and restaurant was surprisingly great…fried green tomato BLT and sweet potato fries…bartender was very attentive and fast. One pool is heated and the large one is not, so that was a tiny bummer with the weather being unconditionally colder than usual.
