scamming and lying be careful.

Lady was very rude and called me after I checked out and everything was perfect, she was lying saying that I smoked in the room and wanted more money. I told her she was lying because I absolutely did not smoke in my room ever. Then she said “because of my pet” which was strange because I paid $75 for my pet already and to just switch the reason like that. Also there were bugs in the bathtub everyday.

For the inflated long weekend price I expected a more refined stay. Recent renovations to motel rushed eg. open exposed hole in drywall, floor transition strip not glued down, tv not set up

Room was very clean, new, beds were comfy, ac was blowing icy cold for me, and the bathtub was deeper than any standard hotel I have been to (and that’s lots!). Sure it’s not right on the beach but it was in a quiet area tucked away from the hustle of the main tourist area, but close to amenities. It was priced at about 1/2 the price of hotels in the area, I have zero complaints. There are some mixed reviews but I think that some people have unrealistic expectations of a budget friendly hotel. It was perfect for us. I will stay again.

I checked out early and was told that I would receive an email with my receipt for two rooms. I didn’t. We are all busy when we stay in hotels. We all need receipts. When this doesn’t happen it sets the bar lower.

It was definitely not what I expected from a Coast Hotels property. There were hairs in the bed, what appeared to be a blood stain on the comforter, and no extra pillows and blankets. The TV required multiple remotes to control which was definitely inconvenient.
